    How tiny Nimoy looks next to Arness's 6'7". I just had to look that up doncha know?

    James Arness played the 'thing' in the original Thing.

    A classic but Carpenter's remake was also excellent.

    And of course Nimoy was on Mission: Impossible for a couple of seasons. Prior to Star Trek I believe.

    M:I started in the same year as Trek, but lasted much longer. Nimoy signed up post-Vulcan.
