What is your favorite Police Investigation show?






When you get a call that a college professor and a limo driver are breaking into your house who do you want to call to investigate. The choices:

Law and Order SVU (The sex crimes one)

CSI (The Vegas one)

NCIS (The Navy one with nobody wearing a uniform)

The Mentalist (with the con artist guy)

The Closer (with the supply sgt from MASH)

I tried to make this a little classy so more of you will participate.

    Hey you can't stay mired in the sixties dude.

    Actually I recomend "The Mentalist." It is right up your alley. Simon Baker plays a consultant who use mental trickery like hypnotism and physcological tricks and deduction as he stays one step ahead of the cops he is working with. I would be curious to see your take on it.

    It is actually a pretty cool show without being cookie cutter like some of the others.

    I didn't include "Saving Grace" because Holly Hunter is always getting naked and everytime she does I have to go puke.

    Just thinking about it gives me the dry heaves.

    Has Mariska Hargitay ever had a better picture taken than that one?

    But Marg Helgenberg gets my vote. I like my beeyaaaaaaaatches old.

    I like "The Closer" the best, but "The Mentalist" is really good, Trooper. I just love Kyra Sedgwick's character, though.

    And you know what? "Saving Grace" might actually be good if they didn't have Holly looking so skanky. I know her character is supposed to be a mess, but she really is made to look gross. I can't watch that show.

    Oh, and used to adore all of the Law & Orders until they got so political. Awful now.

    Still have to gaze at Jeff Goldblum, though. Yums.
