You cheesey bastards.

So it comes down to this. It is all about the cheese. Which is your favorite. Now there are so many different kinds of cheese and I can't pick them all. I also didn't want to make it all Italian so I left out a lot of my favorites like assiago and fotina and even mozzarella. But take it for what it is worth and tell me your favorite cheese. The nominees:

Brie for all you elitist mo's that visit this site.

Gouda if it is Gouda enough for you.

Swiss because you don't want to be called French.

Manchego the great Spanish cheese

Government cheese the favorite of all the liberals out there in the blogosphere.

Pick your favorite cheese.

  1. It's not really a valid poll if you don't include the venerable Cheddar. Wisconsin Cheddar.

  2. This is the cheese selection?

As an elitist 'mo I prefer Camembert to Brie, and my favorite Spanish cheese is Mahon, it's like the Sweet Tarts of cheese. Okay, that last bit didn't sound very elitist.

Ruth Anne Adams is also %100 correct, we need Cheddar. Vermont Cheddar.

  3. Aren't Wisconsin Cheddar and government cheese the same thing?

  4. Trooper, you didn't list the actual best cheese in the world, Cougar Gold.

Made by Washington State University, which also produces some of the best quarterbacks, such as Drew Bledsoe...

You can order it on line, the cheese not the QB.

  5. Oh yes, since you don't have the Italian cheeses or the Cougar Gold, I will have to own-up to liking the Brie best of what you list.

  7. Tough to pick just one, it depends on what for. Cooking, putting on hamburger, eating with white wine, with red wine,as part of cheese sandwich, - its all different cheeses.

But if I have to choose one:

    ROQUEFORT CHEESE

  10. Holy cheese, Batman, I chose the Swiss. My favorite cheese is whatever that stuff was we ate on the way to Atlanta to see Roger Waters. It went well with the pate and crackers. It was yellowish-white. I can never remember what it's called. And I can never find it in the store. But, it's good.

I had to go with the Swiss, since it allowed me to vote against the French. I hate the French. Except for their salad dressing. That stuff is good. Not as good as that cheese we ate with the pate, though, but tasty nonetheless.

I like Cheez-Whiz on Triscuit crackers. That wasn't one of the choices, though, so I voted for Swiss. When I get to work, I'll vote for Swiss on that computer, too. Maybe on my desktop back in the bedroom, too. Is it okay to vote more than once on these?

  13. I like the white American cheese on my hamburgers and the orange American cheese in chef salads.

And we forgot cream cheese for cheese cakes, marzcapone for Italian treats... ...Parmesan, Mozzarella, Ricotta, cottage cheese...

And we have only 5 to vote on!
