In'n'Out burger does indeed have some great fries. They're something I missed when I moved here to Austin... that is, until I discovered P. Terry's. Clearly inspired by In'n'Out, their fries edge out those California classics by a nose, though their burgers don't *quite* do the same.
My favorite spuds are mashed, but I believe that french fried spuds go best with beer.
