You know I poke around the internet looking for new looks. This dress caught my eye. I wonder if there are any possibilities there? We would have to change it a lot to make it work for plus but there seems to be something indefinable that catches the eye. I wonder.

The dress style is early 70's, post-hippie, I-do-cocaine modern. Retro. It's on the fringe of being mid-century.
ReplyDeleteMid-century design is a trend now, with mid-century unofficially defined as 1950-1962. Mid-century homes (think: Brady Bunch home) are sought after, as are mid-century furnishings.
Mid century clothing for women? It could work, given the popularity of Mad Men, which is a mid-century story and setting.
