ReplyDeleteI begged my parents to stop at "The Wonder Spot" near the Wisconsin Dells when I was a kid. It only took one visit to realize why most intelligent people shunned the place. The whole premise was phony. It was a perfect example of one of P.T. Barnum's dictums (dicta?).
The Duck Tours were different story.
Oh, that wonder spot, I thought...never mind.
