    Vigoda as a mafioso was the one sour note in Godfather. Copolla must've been out to lunch the day he made that casting decision.

    Cesar Romero, Fernando Lamas and the Corinthian leather guy, Ricardo Montalban, were the murderer's row of latin lovers.

    The young are a different race. Which only becomes apparent when you are no longer remotely young. A lot of guys in their 40's endure a ton of misery because they're still under the illusion they're young. Which the beautiful stranger disabuses them of in the most brutal fashion. Moral? There is no moral. Just you've had your five minutes on stage now get off. Only a glutton for punishment tries to stay on stage.

    It stinks to be wise.

    I remember my wife was commenting to a sixteen year old Danish exchange student who was staying with us how she thought George Clooney was attractive (they were watching some film with Clooney in it). The girl said, no he is an old man. This was before Clooney did his fat thing in Syriana.

    Ouch.
