RIP Patrice!

I just saw on MSN that one of my favorite comedians Patrice O'Neal has passed away after a stroke he had in October. I didn't even know he was sick. He was part of the crew with Opie and Anthony and Jim Norton on their radio show. He also was great on Colin Quinns old show "Tough Crowd." You need to go on Youtube to download some of his stints on O and A because he was one cool dude.

It always is upsetting when a young guy like that passes away. I mean he was a fat fuck just like me and he stroked out and died. And he is about 13 years younger than me. That's some scarey shit right there.

My prayers go out to his family and I hope he can rest in peace. He was a very talented and funny guy and he will be missed.

  1. It is scary friend. My grandfather and father both died of strokes. That's why I take statins, walk every day, and eat right[for the most part..we need our indulgences].

My condolences to family and friends.

  2. I also take an aspirn every day. It
helps stop strokes. I heard Yogi Berra talk about it once. He said his doctor told him to take one aspirn a day to stimulate blood flow and it seems to have worked well for him all this time.

  4. A friend of mine, in very good health, died of a heart attack in his sleep 2 weeks ago. He was 41. It totally fucked me up.

Did I ever tell you guys I love Howard Stern? I can listen to him all day. He is a fucking genius.

    tits.

  5. OMG, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer is on tonight. I fucking love that movie. So exciting.

The next three days I am doing a deep cleanse by the way. No food. Very exciting. Everyone should do at least two deep cleanses a year.

    tits.

  6. Titus, one does not die at 41 if one is in "good health". His coronary arteries were clogged or he was snorting coke. And you have been fucked up for a lot longer than 2 weeks.

And what the fuck is a "deep cleanse"? Are you claiming that you will fast for 3 days? That's bullshit. What exactly do you expect will be clean at the end of that time?

  7. More important than the aspirin is to keep your blood pressure normal.

There are two types of strokes ischemic and hemmorhagic. In an ischemic stroke the blood vessel is occluded with the clot, in that case aspirin would be helpful, BUT in a hemmorhagic stroke, which is caused by a blown vessel, aspirin can actually exacerbate the situation by reducing the clotting factor , that would be needed to plug up that tear in the vessel and one can quickly die of a brain hemmorhage, sometimes in minutes.

Bottom line, get regular BP checks. Buy a little home wrist monitor if you are borderline hypertensive.

OK, guys, no charge this time.

  9. People of 41 can die of a heart attack, even those in seemingly good health. There are many things that can go wrong, from a genetic condition, to occluded arteries. There is a syndrome called sudden death syndrome cause by an electrical impulse disorder of the heart, it stops beating and boom you are dead in an instant. If someone isn't there to do CPR and call 911, you are shit out of luck.

  10. Thank you for the info Allie.

Patrice had diabetes and lots of health issues. Plus the late night comedy life style. Bad food. Late nights. Lots of stress.

It was sad but almost inevitable.

  11. I am fasting Six. Just liquids with wheat grass and water and lemon and fruits smashed in the blender. Three full days. It said to add some honey or maple syrup but I really don't care for those sugars.

    It's fab.

    You need to try it.

You will feel super, thanks for asking.

Next I will be having a colanic.

    tits.

  13. So you are consuming massive amounts of calories but call it "fasting". Whatever - clearly your understanding of what fasting is is as flawed as your ability to write English.

  14. Last night some 21 year old hottie was hooked in off the street, lubed up, porned on, and T'd off to prove draw power to a tired old loafer, and tonight it's fab hyperfastittyness and colanics in the face of devastation and death.

Hope the wheatgrass cures what ails.

  15. MamaM - cramming things up his ass while claiming not to like having things crammed up his ass will not heal what ails Steve. His illness is deeper than that.

  16. It's really not a fast Sixty, it's a cleanse.

    Cleanse loafs are really gross.

  18. I never heard of nor heard Patrice Lamumba whatever - watched a clip - he was neither original nor funny. He was just rehashing Sam Kinnison's bits from 30 years ago. Sam was first and much funnier. Patrice just a pale imitation, but I can see why Crack would like him - he's pathetic just like Crack. Now he's dead.

  19. No jerky jerky during cleanse too.

That is part of the cleanse process.

  20. I've done actual fasts.

You know, the kind where you don't eat? 70-80 hours, as I recall.

No particular reason. It just seemed like not eating agreed with me.

  21. I have never done a fast.

    I have done a slow.

That's where I slow down when I am eating. You know so that I don't so much. I only have two burgers instead of four. Three pieces of pizza instead of five.

    You just go slow.

  23. I eat once a day. Its called Intermittent Fasting, one of the best ways to lose weight fast, resets leptin levels. It was developed by a retired military doctor. Not a good idea for diabetics though.
