Giants 31......Cowboys 14

Just sayn'

I hope we see those loser Packers in the NFC Championship game again.

(Correct for the correct score as you shouldn't blog while you are plastered)

  2. Let's see if I can remember the last time the World Champion New York Giants traveled to the frozen tundra.

    Hmmmmm.

    Sweet Jesus, a great memory.

  3. The Giants should be playing Denver in the Barely .500 Bowl...

  4. I wonder if the Giants win might cause the Eagles owners to fire Andy Reid due to proximity of division champ to Philly. Andy Must Go.

  5. I don't think there has ever been a league champ with 7 regular season losses. But I suppose it is possible and this could be a first.

  6. I have a relative by the name of Napoleon Barrel who played for the Oorang Indians, back in the 1920s. They were coached by Jim Thorpe and the team was made up of all Indians. How cool is that?

  8. First of all, a big shout out to the NYG for beating at Cowboys. Much appreciated.

That being said, the Giants are not going to beat the Packers. Not going to happen. Get used to it now; grieve early and get it out of your system.

    Allen S - very cool!

  16. I used to enjoy Trooper York's posts about the Giants at Althouse, so I had to come over to see what he had to say about last night's game. Other than 'loser Packers' he was pretty mild, I'd say.

Considering how the Packers can't stop anybody, and how they can be beat if you slow them down (Kansas City game), I'd say the Giants have as good a shot as anybody. Sorry to Packer fans for dissing the D; I'm a Patriots fan and we suffer from the same affliction this year.

  17. Games are won by out-scoring your opponents. If you score enough points, it doesn't matter how many yards you give up.
