The Atlanta Falcons travel to New York today to face the Giants in the early game. The winner of this game will face the No. 1 seeded Multi-World Champion, Universally Known Super Bowl winner Green Bay Packers next weekend in the divisional round.
You know, right after I ran that Warrior Dash I was pretty sure I never wanted to do a crazy thing like that again. :)
But! I'm in better shape now and also know what to train for (climbing!), so I do think I'd like to attempt it again.
Still very interested in running it as a group with fellow Althousians, as we have talked about on Twitter. So maybe an out of state thing? Would be fun! And so much more fun than attempting it all alone, as I did. That was actually pretty scary. :)
Man I'm glad I never played baseball. I would have been a joke too.
ReplyDeleteTrooper, I'm caught in a mother/daughter wedding dress debacle. Can I hire your bride as a consultant?
ReplyDeleteRonny Cedeno is a run of the mill shortstop now on a run of the mill team.
I see Posada retired. A year late, but all in all not a bad exit.

ReplyDeleteYour thoughts?
I will be glad to put the wife on the case Nick. Email me the details at trooperkirbyyork@live.com and we can give you some advice.
ReplyDeleteAllenS I will be seeing you next week on the Frozen Tundra.
ReplyDeleteSay what happened the last time the Giants played the Packers in a playoff game?
I agree, next week, Giants vs. Packers.
ReplyDeleteGo Giants!
ReplyDeleteAlmost some body parts flying off with that kick off return.
ReplyDeleteDoes Walter Brennan sound like Ron Paul?
ReplyDeleteWTF a safety?
ReplyDeleteTouchdown, okay. Back on track.
ReplyDeleteThanks much Trooper, my bride emailed you the photos.
ReplyDeleteNick
The game is so far so good.
ReplyDeleteGiants v Packers, let the trash talking dago from Brooklyn thump his chest..and pound his pud!
ReplyDeleteJacobs is a concern for the Packers, he's a fucking load. But I don't think they can keep the Packers under 30 points.
Nice to see the Giants take care of the Falcons...they are punks. Giants are peaking at the right time.
ReplyDeleteNext week though they have The Pack on the road. Without Brett Favre slowing us down, Green Bay wins 34-19. Book it.
The Giants beat a team that totally sucked.
ReplyDeleteNext up, the Tebow mystery.
ReplyDeleteI have a Giants sweatshirt. :)
ReplyDeleteI have to root for Tebow, though I do love the Steelers, too.
Freakin' Saints were too good last night.
I ran 4 miles today and easily! I'm going to make that 10K by summer.
Allen- is that "mystery" or "misery"?

ReplyDeleteGo Darcy, go! Woot!
Never a doubt.
ReplyDeleteThat's the WC NY Giants
Maureen Dowd.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice little run, Darcy, good for you.
ReplyDeleteEBL just got linked by Robert Stacy McCain on Twitter.
ReplyDeleteto the post about Maureen Dowd.
Ha!
And thanks, Bruce and Allen.
ReplyDeleteI am crazy, but I just started running last summer and I just love it. I hope I don't get obsessed, but so far, so good.
@Darcy: Of course, when do that 10k run, we would all appreciate a posting of your own Chariots of Fire vid. In slow motion of course. :)
ReplyDeleteI love Darcy and I love Maureen Dowd.
ReplyDeletetits.
Wow the power of prayer is working for Denver.
ReplyDeleteI love you too, Titus.
ReplyDeleteGonna do another Warrior Run, Darcy?
ReplyDelete@blake

I'd be down for that.
ReplyDeleteI could do the climbing. Need to seriously buff the cardio, tho.
