The night before the Super Bowl.

It's the night before the Super Bowl and we are resting all day. We are spent. It was the first week of filming and we were worked into the ground. The wife had to be in almost every shot and every minute of the shot. Plus we both got nasty colds. They keep you working. We lost a day off and had to film six days straight for about ten hours a day. Now I know it sounds like it would be fun. But it is tough believe it or not. They want you to be up and bositerious and loud and funny and it is not so easy.

Now they just emailed and wanted us to work on the Sunday of the Super Bowl. Which we are not going to do. We are having a few people over to watch the game and we need to rest before hand.

I am pretty confident that the Giants are going to come through for us. I actually got in a pool at a bar with a $10,000 winner. So who knows. We might be partying big time.

Enjoy the game.

GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Enjoy tommorow Troop, you and Lisa deserve some fun after your first grueling week.

I'm rootin' for the Giants, only because I like you.

  2. Thanks Allie.

I am not letting Lisa lift a finger this weekend.

  3. I'm rootin' for the Giants too, only because I like Darcy, you and Allie.

  4. Plus there's no reason that "hub of the universe" should be the "hub of sports"

  5. Are you kidding me? Work today? After making Lisa work through lunch on Day One, and then making you work on an off day?

Today? Its SuperBowl Sunday! Even Obama is watching the game somewhere! Geeze!

And, Jim, you and I both know why they can work today. Wink wink.

  6. I'm pulling for the Giants but have Pats winning by a TD.

  7. In Georgie Jessel's voice:

    Show business ith my life!

Let the team with the less weak defense win. Cause as we all know, neither team's defense is stellar.

    STELLA!!!!

  8. What ho? Some sort of sporting event today?

I thought Darcy was more about lions and tigers than giants...

  9. To help everyone out and keep the contest even, The Dumbplumber and I are not going to watch the Super Bowl or even think about it.

Every time we get interested and root for a team, they lose. Big time lose. Spectacular losses.

So. For your entertainment enjoyment and to keep from inadvertently cursing one of the teams, we will be doing something else today.

    You're welcome

  11. It's really quite nice of the NFL to throw a big wing-ding of a party in Indy today to celebrate Aaron Rodgers winning the MVP trophy.

  12. I used to work with a great guy from Southie. The company we worked for was based in Oregon and they would fly the entire field operation out for training. In order to get the most out of our time there management suggested that we be required to take classes on Sunday. Paulie piped up from the back "But Sunday is the Lord's day!"

That shut them up, and we repaired to the bar where much Dom and agent orange was consumed. Not by me, mind you...

  13. I am a mess. They just flashed the camera on Gisselle, who I love so much. So exotic, beautiful and hot and thin.

    tits.

  14. Patriots cut one of their guys last night and replaced him with someone else.

How cold and mean, but I love it.

    Now work it Pats.

  15. Okay, game on. I'm all in for the Giants for this game!

  16. Two to nothing. Someone just won a ton on a long odds bet.

  17. LOL. I was just thinking that screwed up a lot of people's football squares.

  18. I think Eli is just adorbs.

    Girly comment. Sorry.

  19. 9 to zip. Can I go to bed already? Is it over?

  20. Rumor has it Madonna is doing full frontal for the half time show.

    ReplyDelete
  21. The David Beckham ad was definitely the hottest ad.

    Total hardon.

    tits.

  22. Patriots up by one at the half. It's gonna be a nail biter...ok, Sixty, bighter.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I might have gone with "blighter". But that's just me...

    ReplyDelete
  24. So far, good game. May the best team win.

  25. One minute until Madonna.

    How exciting.

    I so love her.

She better be really dirty and nasty.

    tits.

  26. Rocky start but the Patriots were playing great toward the end of the first half.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Umm. She looks great but this show is weird.

    Tina Turner would have rocked.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Madonna better be careful - she might break a hip.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Madonna sounds like she broke a lip.

    ReplyDelete
  30. OMG, Madonna!

    I just came!

    So amazing.

    So incredible.

    So beautiful.

  31. I had never heard her sing, nor seen her perform before tonight - she is extremely limited - how did she build a career with such a nonexistent vocal range - seriously - having other singers on stage with her only highlights her inability to actually sing. Do not like the sound of her voice, either. Not a good singer, by any stretch of the imagination. Madge-i-nation...

    ReplyDelete
  32. It was...awkward. Yeah.

She had a better voice when she was younger. I liked it. But this wasn't a very good show.

When was the last good halftime show?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Madonna is our American treasure.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Michael Jackson, when he did the moon walk was pretty good.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Read AllenS' comment fast before it disappears - oops, my bad. Forgot where I was. ;^)

  36. The bitch is 53, looks incredible and has had over 50 top 10 hits.

She is so fab. I can't take it.

    I almost cried.

    Loved the show.

    ReplyDelete
  37. What about some of the Football Players names?

The announcers must take classes in order to pronounce them.

    ReplyDelete
  38. By the way the crowd is definitely for the Giants.

Everyone hates the Pats and I like that.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Let's not forget Myra Kraft, God rest her soul.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Pretty sure there was a good one and it involved Aerosmith. :)

    We all have our faves!

Sorry to diss your girl, Titus.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I can honestly say I don't have a fave.

I don't think I've ever watched the halftime show. It seems to be like the Oscars: Everyone watches and everyone bitches about it.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hey, what's with this settling for Field Goals?!

C'mon Jints, complete a bloody drive!

    ReplyDelete
  43. That Florence Henderson put on a heckuva halftime show!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Awesome. Suck that, New England!

    ReplyDelete
  45. CONGRATULATIONS TROOPER! Nice game, Giants!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Bradshaw hesitating to score was unbelievable.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I heard a sports talking head today predict a 4 point Giants win. He was a bit off in the score, he said 24-20, but all in all, not bad.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Congrats Giants.

    Great Game.

    Tits.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Where's Troop? Isn't this where he takes a bow?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Did he tell you the Giants were gonna win the Superbowl or did he tell you the Giants were gonna win the Superbowl?

    ReplyDelete
  51. YeHaaaaw!

Manningham's sideline catch was the coup de grace, it was so over for NE from that point on.

    ReplyDelete
  52. The David Beckham ad was definitely the hottest ad.

Hot DAMN, what is he selling? I'll buy two!

    or three!

    ReplyDelete
  53. I thought Madonna sucked worse than the Black Eye Peas...just say'n.

The Honda Battle of the Bands at the Georgia Dome last week was much more entertaining.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Congratulations Giants and Trooper I know you're happy!

    ReplyDelete
  55. It was a good game and I liked the results. Hope we hear from Troop when he is able.
