Did you ever get the feeling.....

That Beth and her best friend from high school took a turn when they had that experiance with the Bad Santa at the Neiman's in Baton Rouge?

  1. I bet they were bad too. Does that cancel Bad Santa out to be a good?

  2. Is there any fun in mocking Beth if she isn't here? Well, sure, but I mean, wouldn't it be more fun were she here?

  3. I have to look up who Beth is.

  4. There is no Neme's in Baton Rouge.

    I mean really troop.

    She's a dyke Allie.

    tits.

  5. I feel bad for places that don't have Neme's or Saks as anchors that they can walk to for a needed blouse.

    That is just sad.

    How do they cope?

    tits.

  6. Any respectable city should also have Guc, Prada, Commes des Garcon, Burberry, Armani, Versace and Mark Jacobs boutiques.
    tits.

  7. We have a Wal-Mart and a KMart. We're pretty sophisticated. Oh, and a Tractor Supply Co. store. I don't know who Guc is.

  8. Beth is here. She just doesn't comment much but I know I sent her an invitation.

    She hasn't been commenting much.

  9. Well , speak up Beth!

  10. Is there anything sexier than women smoking? Another reason the war on smoking is a crime.

Do you frequent boutiques, Titus? Not a trick question. When I was young I spent a ridiculous amount of time in stores like Bloomingdales, not shopping exactly, just walking around and trying things on. Unimaginable to me now. I'd be dead without catalogs and internet shopping. The thought of even setting foot in a department store. Ugh. Can't do it no more.

  11. Me too, I hate shopping at stores, strange for a woman, I suppose. I do all my shopping online, even grocery shopping via Peapod.

  12. How is you can get food delivered out in Cow Country while an average Joe like myself, living in Ellay, can't?

  13. Traffic.

By the time your food would get to you in LA it would have gone bad.

In Dairyland they only have to dodge a few milk trucks.

  14. Blake, I live in a Republican County, lottsa rich folks, ya know rich folks can buy anything their heart's desire.

But seriously Peaod is great, it's based out of Chicago and delivers in my area, God I love it! Worth every dime for the tip, no dragging in of grocery bags, shopping at my fingertips.

  15. They don't deliver from Chicago though, they have hubs in Milwaukee.

  16. Dammit.

If I could get that home delivery crap goin', I'd never have to leave my house. I could work on my pallor.

  17. Seriously. I don't go to any of these boutiques anymore. Even if I have friends who work at Barney's, Saks and Niemies.

    It is too much trouble.

But it is so important to know they are local and available.

    It is all about convenience.

    tits.

  18. My bride bought her mother of the bride dress @ a Nieme's Last Chance. San Ysidro is south of San Diego and this outlet mall is literally blocks from Mexico. She got a beautiful $800 silk dress for $180! The mall caters to upscale Mexicans and San Diegans.

  19. Not to get all "econ" here, but I'm always amused by the "I got a $X item for $Y!"

I guess because, if you paid $Y for it, it's a $Y item. I mean, that's not always true. But it's true enough to where some shops will take a $X dress and label it as "marked down from $5X!"

Clothing stores--the fact that they sell clothes seems to be incidental to all the other stuff they sell.

  20. Blake, I know nothing aqbout clothes. I wear them simply because it's the law. However, my bride does. She researched and found this Nieme's Last Chance, which was closing shop in a few weeks, and was bowled over by the price for this beautiful dress. I agree w/ you in theory, but I think you may be wrong in this instance. Trooper and his bride would know best.

  21. Oh, those who are wise in such matters can surely find bargains.

I'm not, but I know enough not to take the word "outlet" or "Wal-Mart" to automatically mean low prices.

  22. Oh wow Nick, I am so jealous, my mother of the bride dress still isn't purchased and I'm not seeing any bargains like that here, damn!

  23. Allie, When's your daughter's wedding? I thought you were heading to southern Ca. I think this Nieme's Last Chance in San Ysidro is closing later this month?

  24. I have some matches from Dick's Last Resort in San Diego, but I think that might be a different place...
