Hey! (I'm cracking up at this thread) I don't have hollow legs!
And yeah, I have a stupid old computer that is about to be replaced. *shakes fist at computer* I need my TY time, dammit.
So that's where I've been. El Pollo has the scoop on that.
Michael is just the coolest with his travels. Actually, I'll say that his wife might even be cooler - what a tough chick to be up for that trip! I'm in awe.
Yes, Darcy, Michael is the coolest. It's been a lifelong ambition to take a motorcycle tour to Alaska. I broke a front tooth in a motorcycle wreck all those years ago, and lost my nerve. Never went, and now we live vicariously thru Michael H.
*Raising glass of mediocre Austrailian Chardonnay on his own tab*
Here's to Michael! May he favor us with his limnings, so that we might see the wonders he has done!
I had a nice experience with Apple these last couple weeks. Late last week my 2-year old laptop crapped out on me for the third time, in the same way. I argued (nicely) with the support staff that sending it back only to make the same repair for the third time wasn't acceptable, since they couldn't guarantee it wouldn't happen a fourth (or fifth) time...
They agreed. So they offered me a new, current-model laptop with the same or better specs than the one I had. Swee-e-e-et! Even better they let me add a few upgrades I was itching to do and just pay the difference. I now have a shiny new laptop.
But I wasn't surfing quite as much in the interim.
I haven't said much over here yet, but I'm here (and actually qualify as a shut-in for one more day, as I've just been cleared to drive after knee surgery a few weeks ago). But with the Tour de France on every night, and my beloved Texas Rangers (is it heresy to utter that phrase on this site?) on the West Coast all week, I don't get to the computer till about midnight.
My doctor told me I couldn't visit here anymore because of the pics of Joey and Adrienne. Screw him, though.
I've been working, working, working and simply have almost no time to check in. I was off yesterday, which meant I was only at the restaurant for three hours, but I've tried to spend the little time I have with the family.
We agreed that none of us would tell you. But it's being done on your tab. And you know how much we can drink.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap. That Alaska firewater is boucou expensive.
ReplyDeleteBut that's ok hoist one for me brother.
I just hope Darcy isn't there. That girls a sponge I tell you. A sponge. She has two hollow legs.
ReplyDeleteI think Darcy has trouble logging onto TY from home. That explains why she's not here as much lately.
ReplyDeleteI've been busy as hell this week and will have a busy weekend.

I'm here. Ish.
ReplyDeleteJust got nothing to say. Except I think that blue I'm wearing there really complemented my eyes.
See how we come out of the woodwork when you whistle?
ReplyDeleteWife and 14 year old daughter and I were watching two episodes from season 1 of 24.
ReplyDeleteI had a Pilsner Urqell and a Harp.

Hi everyone. Wish I was there with you.
ReplyDeleteWe read your very nice commets while having a few beers and thinking of you. I didn't know to email the photo to TY so it's been posted on my blog.
Mary sends her warmest wishes, too.

ReplyDeleteMe? Hey, I was out clowning around.
ReplyDeleteAnd when I finally took off my clown shoes, I even got to dancing.
My doctor told me I couldn't visit here anymore because of the pics of Joey and Adrienne. Screw him, though.

I've been seeing other bloggers, and it was excellent!
ReplyDeleteI'm here now! See! I'm the pretty one with the red hair on top of my head.
ReplyDeleteHey, Christy - you talking about the second clown from the right? I almost had dibs on that clown. The rest of them are too creepy!
ReplyDeleteClowns are creepy in general. Heyyyyy...what's Troop trying to say here?
Congrats, mcg! That's a nice win. :)
Hey thanks for stopping by guys. I just was breaking chops.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are what makes blogging worth doing.
Oh and Christy let me tell you about spinners. Think about treating Joey Heatherton like a lazy susan and you got the idea. Hee, hee.
Thanks, Trooper, good to know these things so I don't embarrass myself. As often.
ReplyDeleteYes, Darcy. I'm the one that upon closer inspection looks like Howdy Doody. I've always wanted red hair.
Agreed, clowns are creepy. Except for my sister. She was involved for a while in clown ministry. How bizarre is that?
A clown ministry? What she was trying to convert clowns to Christianity?
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty specialized.
