Sunny ...how I love ya....how I love ya
New York DailyNews (May 5,2012)
The Jersey mom accused of toasting her 5-year-old daughter in a tanning booth melted down yesterday, ranting that she’s an excellent mother and the victim of “fat and ugly” critics who are “jealous’’ of her beautiful bronzed body.
The New Jersey Nutjob — surprisingly thin-skinned despite countless hours spent roasting under UV lamps — spent much of the day staggering around her hometown of Nutley, slurring to trailing reporters that she’s a great mom and nobody understands her.
“There’s somebody out there, for my whole life, that doesn’t like me because they are jealous, fat and they’re ugly,” Krentcil told a reporter in a video interview outside her hair salon
I saw this on the EBL channel.
ReplyDeleteTerrible
She won't be a bronze goddess, when she has big ugly patches of malignant melanomas on her body. To expose her daughter to UV rays at such a young age is incredibly irresponsible and neglectful of the fact that the younger a person sustains burns the higher the incidence of melanoma as an adult.
ReplyDeleteI was at a Barbeque last summer, when a drunk neighbor wandered over with her wine in hand bragging to a family friend who is a Dermatologist, how she doesn't buy into all the "hype" over skin cancer.
You should've heard what the Dermatologist said to her, it wasn't nice.
Michael Jackson experimented with skin bleaching but wouldn't it be possible for that lady to get melanin injections? Or maybe get a "suntan tattoo"?
ReplyDeleteHad a college roomate from Nutley, NJ. Hardly anyone knew his name, he was "Nutley". His old man ran a Mafia vending machine biz[dad was a civilian]. "Nutley" spent his summers working the NY subway vending machines. He loved to blow weed and could there be a better job..all the munchies you want!
ReplyDeleteThis mother looks like a monster.
Everyone has their reasons. Hers can't get any clearer. Early on a belief formed that someone didn't like her the way she was and she needed to do something different to change the outcome or call attention to herself. She now devotes herself to tweaking and manipulating her appearance in the hopes of fooling or convincing others and herself of her worth.
ReplyDeleteThat makes me wonder about those that would engage in cruel behavior, enough that someone like this woman and those like her engage in activities that cause harm to themselves and even their children.
ReplyDeleteWhat makes a bully? I think bullies must've been kids with cruelty in their own lives, resulting in low self esteem and they then the project it onto their victims. An ugly circle.
You can trick her out for the premiere of Season 2!
ReplyDelete@Allie: the first thing we should do is round-up all the ant bullies and their hiding places.
ReplyDeleteYep, little boys who torture ants might just grow up to be little chickens.
ReplyDeleteWould changing an avatar every few days to reflect the current cause or angled pose of the moment fall into the same category as repeated attempts to change skin color?
ReplyDeleteIf humor were involved, my answer would be no. If manipulation was the motive, I'd say yes.
Do you really want to hurt me, Allie?
ReplyDeletelink
Sorry, wrong link. :(
ReplyDeletelink
Oh darn can't load your YouTube on my iPad, I'm not at home, so I can't go see it on my desktop. No I don't want to hurt you Chickie, you are my favorite little chicken, like that cute little chicken who is the buddy of the big rooster Foghorn Leghorn.

ReplyDeleteI saw her on tele.
ReplyDeleteWhat a freak.
How the hell did she get her skin that color.
She could be ok looking too. Her tits must really look weird that dark. What happens to her nipples? Nipples tend to be tender and that could hurt tender nipples. Nipples are also sensitive and if suckled or flicked they can become aroused and erect with little goosebumps around them. You may even begin to shake a little.

ReplyDeleteWhatever, not worth the battle.
ReplyDeleteIs "big rooster" a Blakean allusion or a fogblather one?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of Trooper, keep forgetting Blake is big rooster. Maybe he needs to post a continually changing avatar of colorful roosters to remind us.
ReplyDeleteSeparated at Birth: Crazy Tanning Mom and ...?
ReplyDeleteShe was beautiful...once.
ReplyDeleteNow, a hag, she lives in dreams:
Do not think her batty, or a dunce
For trying to recapture dreams
Of youth we all had...once.
Her tits look like the over tanned neighbor in There's Something About Mary.
ReplyDeleteFavre was in that flick. I wonder if he texted his johnson to Cameron Diaz?
Tanning is like autism, steroids, vaccinations—you just can't get good info on it.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I can tell, your dermatologist family friend was an asshole: They scared us out of the sun, reducing skin cancer, yay.
But in exchange, we're all vitamin D deficient, and the cancers you get from vitamin D deficiency are far, far worse.
That said, I didn't think Caucasian skin got that color. Pretty sure it shouldn't.
I don't wear sunscreen, but I don't stand around in the sun, either. Want some vitamin D, am trying to cut down on the melanoma.
ReplyDeleteAs a woodworker, I am guessing that woman used a mahogany stain.

ReplyDeleteBlake, the Inuits weren't deficient in Vitamin D, despite not being exposed to the sun, they got enough of it in their diets.
ReplyDeleteOur Dermatologist friend has seen enough sun related malignant melanomas to have warrentd what he said to that dumb dumb.
Allie,
ReplyDeleteThey won't let us harpoon whales any more, except in the metaphorical sense.
Seriously, though, I don't know about the Inuits specifically, but it does seem to be racial: As a person of pallor, I don't need much sun, where darker skinned people need more to get the same benefits.
No doubt melanoma is bad, but it's also visible and relatively easy to spot compared to, say, colon cancer.
And that's just the cancer aspect. Fercrissakes, we've got kids getting rickets.
One more thought malignant melanoma should not be confused with Squamas or Basal Cell Cardinomas. Malignant Melanoma is a killer, very low cure rate, worse than many cancers.
ReplyDeleteCarcinomas.
ReplyDeleteWhy not just take a Vitamin D capsule and stay out of the sun or wear lots of sunscreen? Simple and safe.
ReplyDeleteI don't think there was texting back then Nick.
ReplyDeleteI was very disappointed in Favre's texted hog though.
Nothing noteworthy about it.
tits.

ReplyDeleteBlake, I agree that we are all deficient in Vitamin D and would benefit from taking a supplement. I've been taking 1000 IU daily for the last three years and haven't had a cold or virus of any kind even once. I understand the many benefits of adequate Levels of D.
ReplyDeleteI just think that since we don't eat whale blubber, we should just pop and D and wear sunscreen.
Pop a D.
ReplyDeleteAllie,
ReplyDeleteMerely ingesting vitamin D doesn't do the trick, apparently. You need to have sunlight, too.
Here is a funny lecture on the topic by Holick.
Funny thing about sunscreen?
ReplyDeleteThere's no evidence it actually works to keep out the bad rays.
And by "funny" I mean, tragically ironic.
1,000 IU may not be enough, especially if you started deficient and don't get any sun.
ReplyDeleteI'm probably not the guy to listen to, though; my skin's a mess.
Blake, I've been hearing about folks who are actually overdosing on D, remember its a fat soluble vitamin. Vitamin E is also no longer as safe as originally thought in huge doses.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go listen to that lecture now.
Allie,
ReplyDeleteThe guy talks about one guy ODing. Took him six months at 50K a day. Heh.
I think I get all the Vitamin D I need by getting out in the sun.
ReplyDeleteTitus: It was not Farve's arm (in itself) that was great, it was how he used it.
ReplyDeleteWell, not counting the some of the Viking time and the Jet year.
ReplyDeleteRe: vitamin D --
ReplyDeleteI was floored a couple of years ago when after having blood tests done, I found out that I had a vitamin D deficiency. I'm out in the sun constantly, and as you can see by my picture, I'm am dark skinned. Therein lies the problem. Dark skinned and 60+ years old is the double whammy. I take a vitamine D pill every day, and now am not deficient in vitamin D.
AllenS, Much of this generations vitamin D problem comes from the fact we no longer eat organ meat, which is loaded w/ vitamin D. Our parents and prior always ate organs and never had vitamin D problems.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to work up to eating that stuff but...bleah.
ReplyDeleteNick, exactly right. I hate liver, no matter what critter it comes from, same with any other organ, ew. I do however love me some braunschweiger.
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere on some Paleo site that one should never eat Polar bear liver, it's so high in Viamin D it would be an overdose.
Well some organs make pretty music....

ReplyDeleteAllie,
ReplyDeleteNot vitamin D, but vitamin A.
Which leads me to this question: Why, after struggling with a polar bear, and managing to kill it, would you split it open and say, "Yeah! The liver! That's what I'll eat!"
Wikipedia link to polar bear liver death.
I saw that yesterday on a paleo site, wish I could remember where, but I agree with you, it's probably A, not D.
ReplyDeleteReally hard to OD on D. Vitamin A, though, is fairly common. Don't people turn orange? Heh.
ReplyDeleteAllenS, Much of this generations vitamin D problem comes from the fact we no longer eat organ meat, which is loaded w/ vitamin D.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure Titus eats organ meat.
But does Titus eat vitamin A?
ReplyDeleteIf think he said once he doesn't go there.
ReplyDeleteI don't do anal.
ReplyDeletethank you.
tits.
Who's going to win the Derby?
ReplyDeleteThose horses have huge hogs.
