The Captain is on his way back!

Derek Jeter is starting his rehab stint at Triple A tonight. A-Rod started yesterday in Single A.

Just goes to show ya.

In any event he should be up at the show in a couple of weeks. Then we can start to see if he can continue or if it is time to hang the up. I don't Jeter will play if he can't produce at or near the top of his game. He is not like that.

A-Rod on the other hand will hang on until they throw dirt in his face because he has nothing else.

  1. Trooper, "Wait till Next Year." The Dodger lament applies to you Yank fans this year.

  2. Maybe so maybe no.

If Jeter, A-Rod and Granderson all come back with something to prove it might be interesting.

  3. Jeter will be the consummate pro.

A-Rod has to crank it up if he doesn't want the Yankees to just pay him off and let him go.

Granderson is playing for a free agent contract.

All strong reasons for them to do exceptionally well.

  4. I liked the broken bat rocker the Twins gave Mariano the other day. Creative thinking and a real tribute. He's sawed off more wood than Lorena Bobbit and a 50 year old carpenter, combined.

  5. Jeter is a class act. It pains me to admit that.

    A-Rod is a douchebag.
