Today was a very busy day so I didn't have a lot of time to post. I was busy getting my shirts cleaned. Oh and cooking.
I didn't make any elaborate Revolutionary War Catsup recipes like Palladian....it was just a simple eggplant lasagna. I am trying to cook healthy so we can feel better and lose a few pounds. But that takes time and effort.
Cut out the pasta, bread and grains. Eat veggies and protein (I recommend you stay away from the steaks for personal reasons but I know you will not). You will lose weight.
ReplyDeletePush away from the table when you're still a tad hungry. Which is another way of saying smaller portions. So easy to say, so hard to do.
ReplyDeleteI have to respectfully disagree with Evi about the pasta, bread and grains. To which I'd add rice and potatoes. I get his point. But a meal without carbs is a meal without body. Very hard to maintain a diet, or any eating plan, without the satisfying body element they provide. Again, carbs but in smaller portions.
Skip all carbohydrates all the time.
ReplyDeleteNo fruit, no vegetables, no sugar, no twee drinks, no pasta, no rice, no potatoes, no bread, and especially no artificial sweeteners or HFCS.
Your body metabolizes alcohol into sugar, so the more you drink the fatter you get.
In other words, eat, drink, be, Mary, you gonna die.
The Sixty diet appears to be just meat and legumes.
