Pope excomunicates Mafia guys but pro-abortion nitwits get a free ride.
The "peoples Pope" made a big deal out of excommunicating members of "The Mafia." Which is kind of unusual because the church hasn't been excommunicating people much these days. That was all so passe. So many people who break the rules of the church are welcomed because we have to "hate the sin but love the sinner."
How does a guy like Andrew Cuomo get a break? He pushed for one of the most radical abortion laws in US history where they can perform an abortion when the baby can walk and talk. But he slides by without a word from the hierarchy. How does that work exactly?
At least the Mafia guys donate a lot of dough and get our artifacts back when junkies steal them.
I have to admit I just don't get this Pope.

Greatest hits!
Ricpic said that not everyone knows the personal of mob hits but some of them are so famous that any well informed person has to be informed of them. Here are the top five greatest hits of all time.
5. Carmine Lilo Galante getting it in the backyard of Joe and Mary's in Bushwick. The shooters were
Anthony Indelicato, Dominick Trinchera, Dominick Napolitano and Louis Giongetti. His two bodyguards were also implicated.
4. Dion O'Bannion was shot in his flower shop by Frankie Yale from Brooklyn will two famous Capone hit men Scalise and Anslemi held his arms. This is the hit we were talking about that was recreated in "Boardwalk Empire." Scalise and Anslemi were also famous for being beaten to death with a baseball bat by Capone as depicted in the movie "The Untouchables."
3. Salvatorre Maranzano was hit in his office by Jewish gunmen sent by Lucky Luciano. These hitters were from the "Bugs and Meyer" gang and included Red Levine and Charles "The Bug" Workman. These guys were later to be the nucleus of Murder Inc.
2. Joe "The Boss" Masseria was whacked at Nuova Villa Tammaro in Coney Island. Various people are credited but it is generally agreed that it was Bugsy Siegal, Albert Anastasia, Joe Adonis and Vito Genovese with Ciro Terranova driving the get away car.
1. Albert Anastasia in the barber shop chair is the most famous and most often revisited on TV and movies. He was hit by members of the Profaci family including Joe Gallo, Larry Gallo, Carmine Persico and supposedly Joe Colombo. There has been some controversy over who did it but Joe Gallo always claimed credit for it so who knows.
Anyway as an actor don't you have to do research? You would think. Whatever dude.

An attack on religion that you will not hear about!
There have two attacks on a convent on Staten Island in the last month. First some jerkoffs broke in and vandalized the convent causing thousands of dollars of damages. Then last weekend they set a fire that was so bad one of the nuns had to jump out of the window and was severely injured.
You know it would have been the lead story for weeks if it was a mosque. But it is buried beneath the fold because it was Catholics who are being victimized.
Back in the day the Mafia never would have stood still for this.
Maybe if they used a funny picture more people would give a shit.
Or they could just blame it on the nuns for smoking.
I miss the Mafia.

Go home and get your fucking shine box

Hey AMC is making a "Goodfella's" series. I don't know if it will track the movie directly or just be "inspired" by it. There are many great stories they can tell about the Mob in the seventies if they open it up a little. I don't want them just to reprise the movie. They should take a hint from "A Bronx Tale" and fictionalize it and open up the story lines.
I wonder who they are going to get to star in it? It's cable TV so there won't be any of the orignial guys. Plus they are all too old.
AMC did "Mad Men" and "Breaking Bad" so they have a decent track record. I am curious to see what they come up with.

Godzilla vs Rodan Italian Style

Did you know that Teresa Guidice of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" and Victoria Gotti of the Gambino family are both appearing on the latest "Celebrity Apprentice?"
It appears that they got into a big fight on one of their tasks and fireworks ensued.
Now Teresa likes to pretend she is Mafia but Vicky Gotti really is Mafia so I don't think that is going to go over so well. I wonder who will get the bitch edit. My money is on Teresa because to know her is not to like her anymore. She got a bit of a villian edit last year and I think next season of Housewives that is already in the can is gonna be even worse.
I am really curious what type of business Trump has these two idiots running. Unless it is giving blow jobs I think they will be total busts in whatever they try. Especially fund rasing! How are they going to raise any money for charity? Who is going to give Teresa money. I mean seriously.
Maybe he can have them asking questions in the next Republican debate. "Did you read my cook book "Skinny Italian." "Didn't you take a bribe from my father and Gaspipe Gasso when you were running the Olypmics?" It would be great!
I can't wait for it to start. A bunch of other D-listers are on it like Dee Synder of Twisted Sister and Debbie Gibson and Cheryl Tiegs and a bunch of other losers.
It's gonna be craptastic!!!!!!!!!!

Boardwalk Empire didn't do it for the Jersey Shore.

I saw the eagerly anticipated Boardwalk Empire that was written by Terry Winter of Soprano's fame and direct by Scorcese and I was not that impressed.
I mean they spent a lot of money on the sets and the costumes but they didn't spend a dime on the exposition. I am intimately familar with the period and I had to stop every five minutes to explain to the wife what was going on.
Luckily she fell asleep about a half an hour in or I would have shut it off.
I really hope it picks up or I will be force to switch to "Say Yes to the Dress."

I want them on my side.

In the early thirties, Lucky Luciano was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He was a top lieutenant of Joe "The Boss" Masseria who was duking it out with Salvatore Marrazano for the leadership of New York's underworld. They had gone to the mattresses and it was all out war. Charley Lucky knew that this was a losers bet and he had to take steps.
So he went to his trusted allies, two tough Jews, Meyer Lansky and Bugsy Siegal. Bugsy was the trigger man when they whacked Joe the Boss on April 15th 1931 and he later led the hit squad that wiped out Marrazano at his office before he could have Lucky whacked. You see the old school guineas didn't want to associate with the Jews but Lucky and Frank Costello and Albert Anastasia had good relationships and partnerships with Landsy and Siegal and Lepke Buchalter and Jack Gurrah Saphiro and Dopey Benny Fine. They knew that it was a real good thing to have some tough Jews on your side.
With all the bullshit going on with the health care bill it has gone unnoticed and unremarked that Israel and the US are at loggerheads and that our relations have never been at a lower ebb. With Iran about to get the bomb and terrorist ready to use it on us, you would think that Barry and Hillary might realize that this isn't the time to pick a stupid fight with your best friends.
You need some tough Jews on your side when it is time to go to the mattresses.

When Superman joined the mafia.
Rico: So you see this is the guy we have to take care of.Clark Kent: Ok but what's the problem.
Rico: He owes us money. He bet on the Giants to win the Super Bowl and now he disappeared. Can you use you x-ray vision or whatever to find him.
Clark Kent: I don't think I need to do that. I know where he hangs out.
Rico: Where's that?
Clark Kent: A freakin' dress shop the fanook.
Rico: Basta, go pay him a visit.
Clark Kent: I'm on it Rico.
