It seems that Leisure Suit Larry and his scabrous spinster spouse are still obsessed with me for some unknown reason. Imagine my surprise when I go over to Lem's and see that he pulled a random comment from months ago to make a stink about and peg his sanctimonious bleating to burnish his credentials as not a racist? What the fuck?

I have to laugh. I guess they miss the days when Spinelli and Inga and Shouting Thomas and Titus and Ritmo and I were pushing the comment count to over 400 on every thread. Now that Spinelli and Inga have taken their dance over to Turley and Shouting and I have pretty much concentrated on our own blogs I guess their count must be really down. I know some of youse guys like chickie still follow and post over there so they would know better than me.

It is pretty reprehensible that Larry wants to use a tragedy as a way to score points but you can't expect anything better from him. I know he wants to capitalize off this tragedy. Even if it to just put on his mantle of self righteousness (TM Freeman Hunt) to cover up his sins.

It does pose a problem for me. Do I let it go? Or do I respond to the shots. I responded to the bullshit this time but I don't know if I want to make a habit of it.

Life is too short and I am just too busy these days.

I don't know who it is that is emailing me at my gmail account for Trooper York. It could be Titus. It could be Crack. It could be Garage. It could be anyone. Even Lawnboy. The title says aformerfriend@gmail.com so it could be anyone. I am not that interested except for the fact that this mook wants to start up trouble. That is troubling to say the least.

Anyhoo he/she sent me a link to the thread yesterday about Lawnboy being mocked. A shitpot of comments were deleted or so it seems. Leisure Suit Larry actually stopped fingering his borrowed dogs anus and took out his eraser. You have to laugh. His sockpuppet cries that he is "bullied" at Lem's and he complains about being deleted by Haz but he has no problem deleting a slew of comments. Nice touch douchebag.

The snitch also said in his email that the Crack Emcee is back full force in various Bill Cosby threads. Nice. That's the kind of commentary that builds understanding. Not bad faith at all.

I would rather talk about hockey.

Meade knows of what I speak. He gets bullied to no end over at Lem's Levity. It's ugly there, it's ugly at the Isthmus and it's ugly here. It happened many times over the years here and was ignored by Althouse. The fact that someone needs to ask about the bullying and doxing here is laughable.

I don't know who Samantha Hill is as I do not recognize the name. I think it is a sockpuppet for someone like Inga although it seem a little too well spoken for that nitwit. 

The "doxing" thing is new. I didn't even know what that was until the recent dust up about the shirt guy where Instapundit was accused of doxing the simpleton who made the original tweet. I thought doxing was when Capitan Aubrey caught a dose of the clap from a waterfront trollop. Who knew?

This is just further confirmation of Michael Haz's origninal formulation. While Professor Turley is called on to defend the Constitution......the evil blogger lady is fighting in the comments section about people being mean to Lawnboy. Just goes to show you!

Hat tip to Spinelli. He was right about Turley. I am not someone to not admit when they are wrong. I still think that Turley is a liberal weenie but his heart is in the right place. At least he realizes that Obama is treating the Constitution like it was a liquor store in Ferguson, Mo.

Dog photos Meade doesn't want you to see

I hear Meade's blog about dogs is very popular. Someone emailed me that he got an article in a newspaper or something.

Just think how popular it would be if he posted those photos he takes of dogs and the coeds who will do anything to pass his meal tickets class.

He would break Sitemeter or sumthin!

You will remember the little dust up we had last week where Shouting Thomas said he blocked Crack, Meade and Althouse for sending him a fund raising letter for Crack. It seems it was written by Crack and went out under Lawnboy's email. Well someone else got the same email and sent it to me and gave me permission to publish it in it's entirety. Check it out:

Just a note to say, if you haven't seen or heard from me lately, it's because I took almost a decade off to get my head together after my divorce from the "spiritual" murderess who killed three people. Yeah, no shit. Since then, I've lost my Mother, my God Mother, my babysitter (Maya Angelou) damaged my back in two places, and recently broke a finger. Yeah!

To some of you - if I've been a mystery - figure it out. 

Anyway, I'm back in SF now, and that's resulting in a bunch of new recordings - here's the beginning of a bit o' fluff, inspired by "The Case For Reparations" by Ta-Nehisi Coates, and the blog We Are Respectable Negroes. It's called "Kick The Duckets (The Reparations Song)". 

It's just getting started, only two verses with no middle eighth, and (without mastering) requires headphones for hearing what I'm sending you - but you've GOT to catch the bass (base) on The Crack Emcee's songs - come on. 

Feel free to pass it around to potentially interested parties as an early promo for what else is coming. 

I'm also still doing my blog, The Macho Response, but woodshedding on music's interrupting the flow a bit. (I'm writing furiously, because there's also a sort-of Dap Kings kinda band thing beginning, with rehearsals starting in a couple of weeks - and I'm doing all this with no money so it can't take forever.) 

The death of Trayvon Martin, and those blacks we've seen murdered since, have triggered a re-awakening that "colorblindness" is deadly in the American context - allowing it's racism a free pass - so (with the ability to reach the conservative readership TMR has acquired during my wilderness years) it's aesthetic has shifted to a more-or-less urgent, Stokely Carmichael, go for the jugular approach, rather than my original idea about Bob Moses in overalls. It could still happen, but my thoughts are on how surreal America is, to make such a brilliant man suit up to die, and I wouldn't dare risk directly offending him. Everybody else, sure, but not him. I feel the debt.

Speaking of debts - the hat's still out - as artists and musicians have done for eternity. When I can stop, I will, and after The Beatnigs, Broun Fellinis, and Consolidated (fingers crossed) being back in SF will mean I can do this again, end getting knocked around by "life,"  and return a lot of favors - with interest - and some good intimate moments. Until I die, Folks, until I die.

Lem has his hands full

Lem has a lot to deal with from the continuing assault by Leisure Suit Larry. His current attacks on the recent thread about the Pope are particularly nasty and uncalled for. But what can you expect.

I emailed Lem about them and he closed down the thread. Unfortunate but perhaps necessary. You see I think Lem didn't have time to moderate and pick and choose what to delete. Nor should he have to do so. I think most of us managed to ignore Larry despite some pretty personal nonsense. I want to support Lem in closing down this thread. There will be plenty of other instances where the talk can continue. This thread was going no where fast. No where good. But sometimes enough is enough.

Lem's goal is to keep it civil. I want to strive to help him do that. My natural reaction is like Nick's or Ari's or Shouting to bitch slap that fucker but I want to rise above it if I can. I hope we all can.

It is a work in progress.

The Return of Leisure Suit Larry

I thought we had seen the last of him at Lem's joint. I mean all of the butt boys and girls who were at Lem's only until Mordor started taking comments were gone from the masthead and the site. We had not seen or heard from Leisure Suit Larry for quite a while.

But he decided to jump in to a thread by Michael Haz so he could lecture Dust Bunny Queen on Christianity. I wonder why that is?

Could it be that they are not getting enough comments over at TOP? I haven't gone there so youse guys who know how to measure it have a better handle on it then I do. I think so many quality commenters left that they want to find a way to engage and get them to return. Of course on a case by case basis. With the caveat that they can delete anyone who stands up for themselves.

I don't know if you guys are watching "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?" They have this bitch named Brandi Glanville who reminds me of the Evil Blogger Lady. She is rude and crude and insults some of the other women on the show. Not the ones with money or power of course. But the ones with a little weakness that she could exploit. Oh and she is a big old drunk.

Anyway after she spews some shit on this chic named Joyce she gets some pushback. And she starts to cry and say that all she was doing was telling the truth and nobody knows the trouble she's seen. Her enables make excuses for her and try to tell everyone how smart and nice and kind she really is.

It is kind of ludicrous for someone who despises religion and religious people to lecture us by quoting the bible. I think it is a trap. So while I will push back I will try not to engage. I don't know if that is possible but I want to take Nick's advice and try to ignore them as much as I can. Comment and mock indirectly but do not engage. Let's see how it goes.

They really have to get a life

So the Nutty Perfessor and Leisure Suit Larry put up a post that refers to a thread where Palladian and I posted comments. It is pretty funny. They love to say how we can't leave them alone but every couple of days they have to come over to TOOP to drop a turd as Fiona or refer to us in some way. Someone emailed a link to this thread and when I went over there I had a good idea. I followed the links to various threads and deleted my comments. It was pretty amusing to see all of the people who don't post there that were in those threads. If everyone deleted their comments there would be about two comments per thread. Bissage and Titus. Heh.

It is particularly heartwarming that Inga is their favorite commenter these days. You have to laugh.

What if?

The Evil Blogger Lady and Leisure Suit Larry  got to rewrite all the old children's books.

There would be lot's of gay marriages. Even in Oz.

You know I thought a lot about vanity while I was sitting there in church. How vain we all are and all the crazy things we are vain about. Our intelligence. Our talent. Our looks. Our probity. Our integrity. Our position in life. Our blog?

I think one of the main components of the big blow up at TOP is vanity. The Evil Blogger Lady is the epitome of vanity. She thought her pearls of wisdom were so great that everyone should bow down to her and worship every peep. Her commenters added nothing. Just background noise and an embarrassment to her when they did not voice the politically correct line. They were bigots. Not decent. Not worthy of her attention or of being on her platform. They would  not even pay for the privilege of her thoughts. What fools.

On the other hand many of the commenters were pretty vain. They thought that many if not most came to the site for the comments. The caustic interplay and insights are what made that site. I confess I myself was pretty vain in this regard. So I went over there and picked a fight with them. And now I pick a fight with Leisure Suit Larry at every opportunity. I hate to see his bullshit go unchallenged so I go in guns blazing like Lucas McCain. And for what? Vanity.

Muhammad Ali used to say "It is hard to be humble when you are as great as I am."

It's true it is hard to be humble. To remember that we have a short time on this earth and our time is better spent than in petty disputes with petty people. I search for humility and I always fall short.  The wife tells me that I always think I know how to do somebodies job better than them and that I think I know it all. I don't know it all. But I know a lot of shit. And I can tell when I am being bullshitted.
When we talk about stuff I don't know about I keep my mouth shut. If you are talking about repairing and building something I would listen to what Sixty Grit or AllenS had to say and keep my mouth shut because I don't have a clue. It's easy to be humble when don't know anything about the subject.

I have to strive to be humble and let go of my vanity. I get in trouble a lot because I fight other peoples battles. I am pretty self-sufficient and I am not worried about much but when other people  get smacked around I have to jump in. I doubt that I am going to stop doing that but I can be a little better at being humble. Let go of my vanity.

The only vanity I want to have to think about it that hot chick that Prince used to bang.

What if?

Leisure Suit Larry decided to reveal all and published the photo that got the professor to go out with him?

Doubling Down on Stupid

One of the virtues of fighting with a stupid person is that they always double down on stupid.

After the brouhaha over LSL comments that were deleted he went and reposted them again!  After Freeman had them deleted. Hmmmmmmm. I wonder how that one is going to work out. I am tempted to post a comment or two but why get in the way when someone is rushing to destroy themselves.
