We are totally different I tells ya....totally

I don't know how I ended up in an epic back and forth with Meade this morning but so it goes. He was very feisty. I guess the missus was hung over or something so he didn't have to make the pancakes until later in the day. So he had time to fuss about nonsense.

Did I tell you lately that the Green Bay Packers are the World Champions?

Congratulations to Original Mike and Garage Mahal and Meade and AllenS and all those Green Bay Packers fans as their team held on to win the Super Bowl. They are World Champions.

Congratulations guys.

Don't party too much now.

Did you have a Nightmare....

Where all the commenters got together to have a belated bachelor party for Meade and we let AJ book the stripper.

Never let a guy from Philly book a stripper.

Wait, I just don't see it.

Holy Owsley! That hippie reminds me of Meade.

Today's gratuitous bath tub scene, this sex and drinking talk just makes you feel dirty.

Our buddy Meade emailed and said that all this sex and drinking talk just makes him feel dirty.

But a good soak can put that to rights.

Today's gratuitous bath tub scene, asks what happened to Meade?

Everybody has been asking me what happened to Meade? I mean he has popped in a comment here and there but not the way he used to so what's up? I just want to assure you he is just busy. In fact he told me he is on the road a lot meeting up with some of his fellow commenters. This is a photo of his meetup with RH Hardin. I mean I don't really want to know what this is all about.

Hey even though Titus say's he loves fish nobody seems to like the oyster po-boy.

Even though Titus says he likes the fish instead of the meat, the poor oyster po-boy sandwich is lagging behind in our poll. Of course Meade said he voted for it and that he also loves to stick his tongue right in that fishy sandwich, but he is just doing that to curry favor with the ladies.

He is quite shameless.

Anyway here is an oyster po-boy recipe.

This oyster po' boy would also be delicious with Come Back Sauce instead of mayonnaise.
Ingredients:
1 quart oysters
3 large eggs
3 cups cornmeal
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning
1 teaspoon black pepper
4 French bread rolls, about 6-inches each, or 2 baguettes, cut in half crosswise
2 medium tomatoes
shredded lettuce
mayonnaise or Come Back Sauce
dill pickle slices
salt and pepper
Preparation:In a medium bowl, beat the eggs; stir in oysters and let stand for 5 minutes.
In a large food storage bag, combine the cornmeal, flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, Cajun seasoning, and 1 teaspoon pepper.
Take an oyster from the beaten egg, let excess drip off, and toss in the bag. Shake until well coated. Repeat with remaining oysters.
Fry the oysters in batches for about 3 minutes, or until golden brown.
Split 1 roll or section; spread with mayonnaise or Come Back Sauce.
On the bottom of the roll, arrange layers of shredded lettuce, oysters, tomato slices, and sliced pickles. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Repeat with remaining rolls, oysters, and filling ingredients. Enjoy!

You know I go away for five minutes and Meade and Ricpic take over.

You know I go away for five minutes and Meade and Ricpic take over!

Thanks guys. Especially for the poetry.

You know you should email a current photo, it's only right.

So Meade emails me this picture and wants to know if he should email it so she can know what he looks like. This was taken in college when he competed in the Ohio state finals in chicken choking. I think the best thing is to send a current photo because otherwise you are just engaging in false advertising ya know.

By the way, he is standing next to RH Hardin.

Meade is trying to revise the "look."

Well Meade emailed to say thanks for all the advice. He is trying out some new looks to be at his most spiffy.

So the question is: Feathers or no Feathers?

Thursday, January 15, 2009

Hey Meade was asking me for some wardrobe tips.

Hey dolls, Meade emailed me this photo of what he plans to wear and asked my advice. Now I only know about women's clothes because personally I only wear stuff from LL Bean. My wife dresses me otherwise since I wouldn't know Hickey Freeman from Freeman McNeil. So any advice you might have would be greatly appreciated.

I don't known if I heard right but Knox picked up on it too!!!

Now I don't know if I read it right, or if it was just an off hand comment or what the fuck, but I think I heard a certain law professor would be happy to go to dinner and see Gran Torino with a certain horny commenter of ours. Go for it big guy.

Just bring some supplies. Breath mints. Condoms. A stun gun. A video camera.

Good luck.

Do you believe me or your lying eyes?

Meade and Darcy were talking about how guys lie. It's true guys lie. As do women. It's all part of the great game. But as you get older you realize that you should just tell the truth. It's too much trouble to remember lies. And if she is impressed with your lies what is she going to do when she finds out you are a lying bastard. Now in a one night situation it can work out just fine that gets old real fast. Everyone has to go through that stage. But sooner or later you learn that honesty is the best policy.

As far as letting your little sister visit Trooper Yorks place, it's the best thing for her. She has to learn that men are dogs. You just have to train us. A little food something to drink and a place to pee and we are happy.

Jeez they were laying it on a little thick today.

Jeez they were laying it on a little thick at Althouse today. I guess subtlety is dead.

The Lana Wood Cafe.

Well it is time to close up shop early and go into the city to see the Tree at Rockafeller center. Now a tree is made of wood and Meade is always bragging about his wood, so the best thing I can do is call up Natalies hotter sister and leave you in the Lana Wood cafe.

So to speak.

Let me try this.

Spock: Ms. Chapel.
Christine Chapel: Yes, Mr. Spock?
Spock: I had a most startling dream. You were trying to tell me something...but I couldn't hear you. [Chapel is crying] It would be illogical for us to protest against our natures, don't you think?
Christine Chapel: Oh Mr. Spock. You need not protest. I can see that you have a problem. It is the time of Pom Farr and your tricorder is on the fritz.
Spock: Yes I am afraid I have Meade's disease. It is most troubling.
Christine Chapel: Perhaps if I slap it with my pendulous breasts it might respond to the stimuli.
Spock: As the science officer I approve of that experiment.

Hey I thought Meade was the Cincinnati Kid?

[Shooter's wife Melba is altering a jigsaw puzzle piece with a nail file]

Shooter: Melba, why do you do that?
Melba: So it'll fit, stupid.
Shooter: No, I'm not talking about that. What I'm asking is... do you, uh, have to cheat at everything?
Melba: At everything?
Shooter: Yes. At... solitaire. I've yet to see you play one game of solitaire without cheating. Melba: So what?
Shooter: Look, you're just cheating yourself, don't you understand? You'll be the loser, no one else but yourself!... You've ruined the puzzle, now, that doesn't go in there. [She forces the altered piece into place]
Melba: Does now.
