In view of the upcoming bruising fight over the spot opened up by the retirement of Justice Stevens, let me know who was your favorite Supreme. The choices:
William O Douglas
William Brennan
Clarence Thomas
Antonin Scalia
Cindy Birdsong
Let the nomination fight begin.

Simon, you can only vote once.
Simon is still alive?
Oh, I started a blog!
You did? What's the name of it and I will pump it and put it on my blog list.
I did! Today in fact. Only one post up yet though.
Perhaps I should put up some more material first?
What the link?
I will be happy to leave comments. And I think the gang who come here will as well.
I hope you have lots of hot chicks like I have in my garage mahal posts here. Hee.
Material is easy. Read Michael H's blog if you want to see a great personal blog. He just writes about his life and it is very interesting. There is a lot of stuff you can talk about. Like your cars and how you refurbish them.
Also EL Pollo and Blake both do great personal blogs with things that interest them. A good rule is if it interests you than it can interest other people.
Oh....one tip....you can never have enough pointy breasts. Just sayn'
When I google garage mahal, I just get a website from the DIY network with Goldberg on it. WTF!
I don't want to leave anybody out. Jason does a great blog about living in the 1460's. And AJ does a great job but doesn't post often. He is a Phillies fan and you know they are kinda slow. Theo has a nice little blog going but he is very sensititive so watch what you say. If you diss any opera singers or wood winds he will delete your ass.
Some of the others have stopped blogging on a regular basis like Ruth Anne, Darcy and Trey. Sometimes life gets in the way.
Sorry, I had to lug something down to the basement. then of course I had to have a few beers with my neighbor and survey everything afterward.
Anyhow, it's called Garage Blog.
Thanks for the nice words, Trooper.
My favorite Supreme--I'd like to say that it's Diana Ross, but the reality is that it's Clarence Thomas.
I never paid much attention to Thomas, at least after the confirmation hearings. Then someone gave me his book My Grandfather's Son. It was mesmerizing to read how he rose up form the very lowest, dirt-floor part of the south to become a justice on the Supreme Court.
I wish I had his courage.
That's Clarence Thomas? I thought it was Bill Cosby. Can I change my vote?
I understand why you didn't include Diana Ross, but why ignore Florence Ballard?
Her life was supremely tragic.
I guess I'll vote for Cindy, just out of respect.
Verne Gagne was always the surpreme wrestler, in my youthful opinion. His recent (fatal) flying headlock on that old guy in the nursing home did take some of the shine off.
Hmmm, the Italian or the African. Hmmmm.

Troop: Are you aware of this little blog child of Darcy?
None of them is my favorite though I have to admit to being jealous of that great shtoopmeister William O Douglas sticking it to that lovely bit of stuff on the edge of his grave. I don't mean that he shtooped her on the edge of his grave, though that would add an interesting twist, I mean he was still shtooping on the edge of the grave, shtoop shtoop.
Isn't that Buffy from Family Affair?
Hey welcome back Trey.
