Hey watch it sister!

We will be back soon.

In the meantime amuse yourselves.

I used to amuse myself by thinking that this famous actress really went around the set like this.

I had to go to confession a lot.

Whose that girl?

A Cure For Gynephobia

If a guitar can cover up a woman's allure,
And a cello can almost make her disappear,
Think of what a pipe organ's good for --
Why it could mean the end of fear!

Dangit.

Looks familiar.

I'd recognize those knees anywhere!

The "sister" is a clue of course.

Sally Field

Or Rhonda Linstad

Susan Sarandon?

blake said...

OK, I'm not great with faces but there's no way that's Sally Field. Besides not looking like her, The Flying Gidget Nun wouldn't have posed like that in...looks like the '60s, to me. (Did she ever do anything remotely cheesecakey?)

I did think of her because of the "sister" thing but...damn TY's vast knowledge of '60s TV.

Susan Sarandon is at least plausible, but I don't see it.

My logic is as follows:

1) she played a nun in Dead Man Walking.

2) he used the pie in the movies tag.

3) she would have been racy enough to pose like that.

4) the girl in the pic has big eyes.

5) I need to get a life.

But yes, I don't see it either. Ha!

Besides, Troop hates Sarandon. :(

sister movies:

"Two MULs for Sister Sarah" could be a spin-off blog for Ritmo.

Oh, very young, what will they leave us this time?
You're only dancing on this earth for a short while.

BTW, bottom of the 7th and the-team-that-is-not-the-yankees-but-is-from-texas is ahead 7-3.

Lots of things NY baseball money cannot buy.

A lot of those padded $10,000 seats in back of home plate were empty by the 6th inning. I suppose that since tomorrow's a work day those folks needed to get home to bed.

Couldn't be Yankees lack loyal fans!

10-3

This requires a response.

Trooper York said...

Oh and you forgot the Singing Nun.

blake said...

Debbie Reynolds?

Trooper York said...

Bingo!

Did you know that the real Singing Nun became a lesbian and ended up killing herself.

Trooper York said...

But that was only because she was a New Orleans Saint fan in the
1980's.

Trooper York said...

Not that there's anything wrong with that!

jungatheart said...

Come on, that's not Reynolds, really?

How 'bout them Yankees? Congrats, Trooper.

Also, Sound of Music.

Trooper York said...

You are right Deborah. That is not Debbie. That is the real Singing Nun who left the convent and went on tour and did a lesbian night club act.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
