So after the shows at the Javits Center we decided to spend the rest of the day in city. The final day of the show ended at 5pm so we jumped in a cab to Restaurant Row.
We went to this nice little Italian joint called Bistecca Fiorentina which has a great menu. We enjoyed an nice hot anti pasto which included eggplant rollatini, stuffed mushrooms and a nice little polenta cake. I also had a very tasty Chick pea soup.
The wife enjoyed a very nice filet Mignon with grilled portabello mushrooms while I had a very creamy risotto with black truffles. And they had our favorite wine, Santa Cristina.
With desert and tip the whole kit and caboodle came in at less the $200 which is a bargain for Midtown Manhattan. I recommend it highly.
