Behind the scenes!

TV stuff is all hurry up and wait. They have an enormous crew for a simple shoot like this. Hair and makeup, lighting, sound, cameramen, stylists, assistants and what not.

I just think that sometimes less is more. But hey that's just me.

Yeah. It's pretty amazing how long it takes to film things. Saw a lot of that at WB and Paramount.

I just don't like all the assholes who sit around and don't do shit. Why pay them when I can get more money. You know what I mean?

I know the answer of course.

Yep.

Here in Hollywood, the teamster that drives the truck to the location--that's all he does until it's time to drive it back.

He doesn't load or unload or do anything else. Just sits around and waits until it's time to drive home.

After 8 hours, time-and-a-half. 12, double. 16, triple.

Yeah but you can always tell when a film's been made on the cheap by the harsh lighting. So the redundant is actually necessary if you want that professional look.

I said all that and I don't know squat about any of it and yet through sheer genius I do know ha ha ha.
