That short actor[William Duell] was in Cuckoo's Nest. I also saw him in a Broadway production of A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, starring David Alan Grier[Now there's Gay].

Isn't it amazing what throwbacks some guys are? This William Duell would've fit right in with Leo Gorcey and Huntz Hall.
Koufax isn't gay. He was a ballplayer who was actually closer to a yeshiva bucha than the usual stereotype of a ballplayer as a lout. But he was a yeshiva bucha who studied the mechanics of pitching, not the talmud. Which wouldn't of been a big deal but then he actually put what he'd learned into practice. And here's the biggest mystery of all: Koufax had to know that the pressure he was putting on his arm would ruin it in a relatively short time but he went ahead anyway. He was willing to pay that price to be the greatest. Gosh, I'm starting to tear up.
