I have visited each of the family members of the the troopers I lost and it has been 40 years

Flame wars are not the issue. I have got into it with many another commenter in fights much worse than the one we had. In fact hdhouse and I went at it hammmer and tongs with really nasty invective flowing both ways. But we found a way to make peace and he comments here much more often than he does at the evil blogger ladys place. You are not the one that needs to appolgize.
Just be assured that nothing you did had any bearing on my decision. The atmosphere over there has become pretty toxic. And the topics have become supremely boring as it has become very Wisconsin centric. You live in Wisconsin so it seems very important to you but not to rest of us. The things and people that made the evil blogger ladies place are no longer there.

And yes it is very toxic, I honestly kick myself in the ass for commenting there at times.But I enjoy hearing a viewpoint other than a liberal one and you are correct about my Wisconsin connection to Althouse. That is what steered me there in the first place.

EBL just deleted a bunch of comments by a couple of her two favorites. It must have been like watching her two kids fight. Unbearable. She'd much prefer to watch people she doesn't give a shit about beat each other to a pulp instead.
Pity, 'cause it was actually sort of fun to watch. I figured they were the two who could best handle it. It was like watching two cocks fighting while armored up in chain-mail suits (or metal condoms, depending on what you want to read into "cock fighting").
