That was the last movie I saw in a theater before I went into labor with baby #1. Nothing like stylized carnage to prep you for a C-section.
What I particularly liked about that war picture was how it depicted the 'war at home' with Colonel Moore's wife being 'in command' of the other wives. It was filmed at Fort Benning. One of the deleted scenes was filmed in the chapel where I married my Infantry soldier.
He tells me that was the last war [perhaps last episode ever] where the command 'Fix Bayonets' was given to U.S. troops.
I hate Sarah Jessica Parker, Robin Williams, Tim Robbins, Susan Saradon, the BJ Hunnicut guy, brussel sprouts, the Boston Red Sox, commies and well, lawyers.
