Ben: This is boring.
Adam: I know, I could be doing Shakespeare.
Ben: Wait I thought Hoss was the one that was gay? Why would you want to do Shakespeare?
Adam: I have to get the hell out of here.

Pernell Roberts? Nah.

I was a Hoss Cartwright fan. Dan Blocker. Now there was real guy, not some uppity actor.

Blocker was the only actor on Bonanza with an advanced degree (MA in Dramatic Arts).

He was an Army Sergeant during the Korean War. He worked as a rodeo rider, and a beer-joint bouncer. He owned drag racers and road racing cars. He owned part of the Ponderosa Steakhouse restaurant chain.

Pernell Roberts? Just another Hollywood whiner. Fuggadaboudit.

It gets very quiet in those Ponderosa Steakhouses after the shoe leather has been served and the chewing begins.
