She had us watch an "Absolutey Fabulous" marathon. Six episodes On Demand. I couldn't understand half the shit they were talking about.
But it did seem a lot like all the people we have met who are working on the show. Damn but there is shitpot full of producer's. We are going to meet them all today.
I am going to tell them the same thing I tell all our employees:
"Listen you only have to remember one thing, if you make my wife yell at me because of something you do then I will kill you. I will cut off your head and throw you in the sewer. You life means nothing to me."

In other news, Catherine Kieu was indicted yesterday: link.
With that philosophy you could have been a good diplomat...for Saddam Hussein!
Excuse me for noticing, but are you adding the red arrows to photos like that one?
I noticed it here as well.
I will gladly watch your show. But that is the only reality show I will watch. My kids fell in love w/ these shows[Real World was big w/ them years back]. I watched w/ them a bit and then told them. "You know when I do surveillance that's reality, this is just amateur acting." They understood on some level..but they kept watching. To each their own.
I've never seen even one of these shows, but I have it on the list of shows I want to watch.
I watched a bit of AbFab back in the day. What was it, the '90s?
Haven't you had Joanna Lumley grace your front page? If not, you probably should...
A line I used in an elevator in NYC once: I bet the last thing you thought of when you woke up this morning was that a total stranger was going to kick your ass in an elevator today. Am I right?
...but somehow I doubt you need new ideas or encouragement toward this end...
I like your wife, sounds like she can kick some ass, yours! LOL.
In a related vein, I did watch old episodes of Portlandia in preparation of the Titus Portlandia new season (which I know he will want to talk about). Eitehr that or Titus will go on about Downtown Abbey with the scheming gay footman and the collection of Edwardian era tits (and what kind of dog is that in the show, is that a rare clumber?).
Ab Fab is amazing.
Very gay though sweety darling.
I liked Ab Fab but not as much as I like Judy Garland and show tunes.
Hey what the fuck is a dude who just got his eyebrows threaded and had acupuncture watch?
Shit soon I will be off pinching a loaf while I call the North Shore Animal League to see if they have any rare clumbers.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
That's it--I'm outta here. I'm not getting the attention and hugs I deserve.
The story of my life in 30 seconds.
AllenS, I read your account of pain from battle. You are a tough hombre. I had a cousin who returned from Viet Nam w/ a heroin addiction. Another friend who died in battle. My cousin kicked heroin here in the States. Others have PTSD. Wounds from war effect the body, mind and spirit. I hope your wounds are pretty much limited to those you described. I read your comments and you are a guy who seems to live in the moment. That's good, no matter how you got there.
Thank you, spinelli. Some wounds heal slowly. I spent 3 months in the hospital before I was healed enough to rejoin my unit.
Can I read it, Allen?
Darcy,
Scroll down to the post about Allie's tales of nursing.
Oh! Wow. I can't even imagine that kind of pain. Sorry you went through that, Allen.
Allen I apologize, I missed that comment of yours regarding your injuries from Vietnam. To go through that and then rejoin your unit a mere three months later, you are one strong man.
I think suffering and pain gives a person a different perspective on life, proves to us that we are mere humans subject to our own bodies and that we are spiritual beings , capable of rising above that pain, or a least being human through the pain.
Childbirth teaches that kind of lesson too, but doesn't last more than a day, weeks of that kind of pain is mind boggling.
