Trooper York said...: Garden City is a suburban community in Long Island. Pretty much par for the course for the suburbs. There are two sections. The high end area and the more solidedly middle class sections. Serviced by the Long Island Railroad it is a bedroom community. It does have some big time chain restaurants and a couple of big catering halls. In short it has very little of a "New York" flavor and could easily fit into California or Florida or any place else that is a true suburb.; December 8, 2009 at 1:44 PM
