Fashion week news.

When we got back from Vegas we were a little pissed that we didn't get any invitations to the tent shows at Bryant Park this week since it is fashion week. But when I finally finished going through the mail, three different designers sent us invites. Of course we are too busy to go but we will plan it out better next time.

We are having our big event next Wednesday September 17th, so all friends of Lee Lee's Valise are welcome for a champagne reception from 6pm to 9pm.

That means you have to wear shoes Meade.

And RH, no chickens.

As it happens, I'll be in Manhattan next week picking up my daughter from her summer internship. Thanks for the heads up on the shoes. Will my buckskin moccasins be okay or do I need to pack my dress flip flops? Also, how plus-size do the girls need to be? My daughter is just a skinny little tiny thing but she tells me she LOVES champagne. Will there be any cannoli? Anything else to eat? Like chicken nuggets?

Totally guy that will be so cool. We have sizes from 10 to 28 but tons of cool accessories that an indulgent father would love to purchase for his darling daughter. Pocket books, purses, sunglasses, and jewerly that will knock your socks off. Take the F train to the Carroll St stop. Be at the end of the train and it's one block to the shop. We will be having little finger sandwiches of fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil for eats plus all the champagne you can drink. Hope you can make it.

PS we will be filming it so if those warrants are still outstanding you might want to wear a disguise.

Thanks, Trooper. I'll try to be there but the agenda is totally daughter-driven if you know what I mean. If she says yes, I'll be the one wearing the stick-on Rollie Fingers mustache, asking to speak to Mr. T. S. York.

Hey Knox it's not all that it's cracked up to be. It's sort of like a high school graduation. You sit on these really uncomfortable seats and try to follow along with the outfits as they pass by. Now we only do plus, so none of the stuff we are seeing is available for our store. Plus this is generally the couture line which starts at around $2,000 per dress. Most of them are pretty far out. The real work is when you go to the showroom and start to fight with them over how many dresses you have to buy for them to cut it.
That's what it is all about. It was good to go once but that's about it.

Hope you can make it. We can have a few laughs at the least. Plus you can take you daughter to Brooklyn's restaurant row which is just a block away. Hope to see you there. I will be the big fat Irish guy in the Hiawian shirt.
