OT - Is it possible to have a reaction to whole wheat? All I know is that I broke out in a rash after last night's meal and the only thing I can think of is that I was reacting to the whole wheat farfalle (bowtie pasta) that I substituted for my usual white flour bowties. All the other ingredients were unchanged. Still itching like crazy but hoping that that will subside over time. I'm one of those nuts who hate like hell to throw anything, especially food, out. And I just opened that one pound package. Two bucks down the drain.
Should have added that I've never reacted to whole wheat bread. The package of the whole wheat farfalle reads: Organic Whole Wheat Semolina and Water. I can't see why I would have an allergic reaction to it after never having had a problem with whole wheat bread. God knows what Organic means. 'Tis a puzzlement.
Well, for youse who are breathlessly awaiting an update, my rash has turned into welts. Not painful but hard. Still itching. Maybe not as much. Two days ago I ate a brownie. Could it be that? But I'm not allergic to chocolate...that I know of. And never reacted to whole wheat before. If I could just figure out what's doing it. That's more disturbing than the thing itself. Fascinatin' huh?
Outside of NYC people know the difference between the ground and the floor. In the city those words are used interchangeably, ergo, Pants on the Ground guy is not from NYC.
I hate Sarah Jessica Parker, Robin Williams, Tim Robbins, Susan Saradon, the BJ Hunnicut guy, brussel sprouts, the Boston Red Sox, commies and well, lawyers.

You paid two bucks for a box of noodles? Maybe that's why you itch.
Hey, they was high class noodles! ;^)

Nuts?
Nuts is plausible, blake. I thought the rash would subside quickly but it hasn't. Maybe slow subsidence is what follows an allergic reaction.
