Looking back at all the shows...it was wild!

Lisa recently got a gig at Sulia.com where she writes about fashion and business and Brooklyn and what not.
It would be great if youse guys joined their site and "liked" Lisa's posts since she could use the step up in her profile. Also any comments you might want to throw in would be great. I want to hear from Sixty Grit about Spanx and ricpic on the new spring collection.

Anyhoo this is a composite of all the girls from WNTW who were in our shop. Actually not all of the them but a bunch. It was indeed a wild ride.

Troop, I just went to Sullia and it's weird, the up and downy thing isn't there! It's on the bottom of the page. In other words I can't page up or down. So though I'd like to leave a comment no can do. I'm on the road starting tomorrow so I hope it can be fixed today.

A heads up on DST. I've hated the change for years and now there's confirmation that there's a spike in heart attacks in the two weeks following the start of DST. The body's circadian rhythms, whatever that means, are thrown off and there's wild scientific disagreement about how long it takes the body to adjust, with the estimates anywhere from two days to five days to months. Oh, car accidents also spike. I'd say the best strategy is to ignore the whole thing and be an hour late, big deal, if you've got the independence to do that. If you can't, the Monday after DST being the worst day of all, the advice is to get up a half-hour earlier than you normally would. Sounds counterintuitive but I guess the theory is that extra half-hour lets you ease into the day, less stress on your circades. :^) Okay, so if you don't have a heart attack in the next two weeks you'll know who to thank.

Off on a trip. See y'all in two weeks.

Buckle up and spring forward!

Here's hoping the trip includes safety and good surprises.

The mourning doves were out searching the open ground for nest sticks today, even though the snow cover is still at 80%. Spring is on the way.

We got about 6 inches of snow today but it is supposed to be in 50's this week.

I am going to be getting out my tankys and preparing for my spring cycle. BTW my tankys are all just dago t's-no colors, just white-colors are gay.

Me too!!! it is a guaranteed two weeks of me bitching about it twice a year. The good thing is that I don't use an alarm clock to get up. Haven't used one in years, but now that I'm retired, I just ignore the time change and get up when the sun comes up...or later if I feel like it, and we go to bed when we want also anyway. The clocks really don't rule our lives. Dumbplumber is self employed and he can come and go when he wants.

Titus, Depending on the toilet, when I power spray a semi solid one it sometimes hits my ass and balls on the rebound.

FWIW, the funniest exploding ass story I've ever heard/read. I couldn't breathe when I read it the first time.
