Another Bullshit de Blasio Move

Now Mayor Sandinista has announced that he is boycotting the St. Patrick Day's parade because they parade doesn't let gays march. That is to say they can't march as gays. They can march as cops or fireman or band members or even members of the Knights of Columbus.  I mean look at this fuckin' guy. He has to be a sword swallower.

They just can't march as gays. That is what the gay parades are for. Of course if they marched as gays they would have to push the envelope. Soon you would have floats with dancing mo's with butt plugs. This is a Catholic parade that celebrates Catholic traditional values. Not that it matters to de Blasio and his ilk. They will never respect anyone else. In the guise of inclusion they will destroy anyone who does not think exactly like them.

Even gay mayors like Koch marched without a fuss. It is only a matter of time until de Blasio tries to ban the parade all together. It is gonna happen. This is just the first step. The economic benefit and tradition and joy that the parade brings mean nothing in the face of political correctness. So I would predict that the parade will not get a permit soon unless they knuckle under. I hope they cancel the parade if they try that.

Winter is here.

I wonder if he'd bow out if some gay pride parade wouldn't let Focus on the Family enter a float? Wait, no I don't wonder.

Appoint a Black Irish Grand Marshall and Blahs will have to march.

Isn't de Blasio doing you a favor by not marching in the Parade?

Oh I don't care. In fact I don't care about the parade at all. What he is doing is being a canary in the coal mine. He is trying to delegitimize the parade. There is a push to stop uniformed city workers from marching. He refused to order that. Right now. But I bet he will do it next year or the year after next.

It is just another indication that de Blasio and Cuomo want people like me to move out of New York.

I thought thought Gays were already admitted; Cf "Leprechauns".

They probably will accomplish that.

I didn't know squat about de Blasio before. So I read a bit. Holy shit how did that guy get elected to anything...his whole life is nothing but one string of political action, no honest work. And now he is mayor of NYC?

You guys gotta have something in the water over there...oh, wait, my main town elected Kwame Kilpatrick a couple times...and look at us now.

Never mind. de Blasio is the end of NYC is he isn't dumped next election. Damn...a Sandinista, for real...

Let the parade be cancelled. Let de Blowsio hastily organize a replacement to save face. Let it be filled and populated with Village people parading gayly: rainbow rodeo clowns; let it happen. It will be cathartic.

Good luck, New York. Can hardly wait for the Felon Pride parade.

Shouldn't you be writing a sitcom called Che Knows Best?

I am with Chick. They should say no and move it to Long Island or Jersey.

We have to wait and see what happens. But I am afraid they will push it and the parade will be cancelled. Then some bullshit group will take over and it will suck.

They did the same thing when they took the Feast of San Genero away from the Mafia. They have no respect for traditions.

The St Patrick's Day parade is as disgusting as the Gay Pride parade and the Puerto Rican Day parade. All of them should be cancelled.

Palladian, the St. Patrick's Day Parade was much better when you could cut school in Jersey, take the bus in, go through the seedy adult sewer of Times Square, drink green beer all day, and then puke bright green into the gutter, and then take the bus back to Jersey.

And the whole fiasco might cost you $30.

Good times, good times.

The Onion did a hilarious parody of parades w/ a piece on the Witness Protection Parade, w/ the parade always resulting in some "tragic accident" of floats blowing up.
