I am not normally this prolific

But the wife is making me watch the ice skating.

I might finish both books before the fuckin Olympics are over.

What does making you watch the ice skating entail???

It sounds like sitting in the same room, present in body while your mind swirls, spins, twizzles and leaps about enacting dramas with words on screen rather than skates on ice.

I'm curious as to which Phil Jackson book the US female skater, Gracie Gold, was talking about tonight in her after skate interview.

Olympics? When did that happen? How's Michael Phelps doing this time around?

I watch at night, but only so I can keep tabs on Costa's stye in the eye.

Fucking olympics is correct, based on the picture.

On Ash Wednesday, will you change it from Joey Gallo's Lament to Joey Gallo's Lent?

Forcing me to watch the Olympics means she told me she wants to watch it. I have to do what she says. That's what marriage is all about.

I mean shit..... she is making me go to a masquerade ball for Valentines Day. I got a freaking Venetian mask and everything.

Seems as though years of dancing along with "things are not as they seem" themes would allow for some skill at getting through a masquerade ball.

Is the designated mask a full or half version? Does it have a beak? Too bad she bought the mask ahead of the Olympics, because the Bob Costa Mask could have been an ice-breaker.

It is a half mask. I am going to be like the fucking Phantom of the Opera or something.

Sounds good. With a silky maroon robe and a fresh set of non-bloodied slippers, a "Hugh Hefner of the Innertubes" (ala Lem's) costume could be another provocative option.

Hah.

The wife wanted me to wear a tuxedo. I dodged that bullet.

The only problem is I lost 48lbs so my suits don't fit anymore.

When we went to factory to go over our spring order for production I brought over a suit to be altered.

A team of chinks will be working non-stop to have it ready for Friday.
