Rest in Peace Philadelphia,
Philadelphia Thursday has passed away. The bright and cute ornament to Fort Apache has gone on to the big Fort in the Sky. She joins her Dad General Owen Thursday, Captain Kirby York, Sgt Major Michael O'Rourke and Sgt Mulcahy.
She is in a better place. America has changed from what it was back in her day. It is much less United and a much more oppressive State. The sense of patriotism and unity is gone. Now it is just tribes fighting. Much worse than just the Apache or the Sioux. It is black vs. white. Gay vs straight. Married vs unmarried.
Every conversation has become the final battle against Cochise.
May you rest in peace Sweet Philadelphia.

What a cutie. If you show Shirley Temple flicks when she was a child to kids today, they still love them. My daughter adored her and she's in her 20's.
How could you go wrong with dancing Negros.
Good thing Crack can't view this blog anymore.
That remark would be good for about twenty posts right there.
I would have to hire Michael Haz to delete all of his comments calling me a racist.
Lem's has really gone to the dogs.
I don't know. Michael Haz has done a great job of deleting the crap. It usually shows up on his threads since some people want to pick a fight. It usually doesn't happen on oem's posts or Chickies and never on Chip Ahoy's.
Michael's posts tend to be more philosophical so they generate more comments. Of course mass deletions and ignoring some people is a like a red flag to a bull.
Or maybe a bullshitter.
I know our favorite African American and Leisure Suit Larry are in constant email communication so I think that Chickie's theory that there is coordination and collusion is right on the money.
I know this because a few months ago one of them emailed me and told me that.
It was not Leisure Suit Larry by the way.
He claimed he was afraid he was going to get played.
For once in his life he was right.
Shirley Temple and Jackie Cooper: American bookends.
Although Shirley always played right side of the tracks and Jackie wrong side.
But they both had spunk. They were both spunky.
Jackie was heartbreaking in The Kid. Even the movies couldn't sugarcoat that gritty connection he had with Wallace Beery. Shirley they kept cutesy unreal.
My old man loved Wallace Beery.
She was a real looker.
I love the way MH handles Crack and the other 'Wreckers'. Shut 'em down. I know the "talk in circles" crowd hates it, but I don't.
As for Shirley she was a good looker when 18 and fine actress, sadly for her there were about 10 actresses that better looking and better actors in the late 1940s.
And no one was better at dancing with Old Negroes in Top hat and tails.
Shirley Black Temple: no ODs, no AiDS, no real scandals (other than a divorce), and an open Repubician...That's why the lady was a tramp!
