It's been snowing in Brooklyn and the store is slow.

It's been snowing in Brooklyn and the store is slow. That sucks. Although this has been one of the best weeks we have ever had so I can't complain.

Anyway I haven't been able to eat anything but mush because of my tooth extraction. No steaks. No heros. No fried dumplings. No Philly cheese steak sandwich's. No hot dogs.

You know when those explorers were out in the North Pole were freezing and starving and started having visions of food that they didn't have to eat. I always thought that was bullshit.

I have to tell you, it's true.

We have three kids living in New Orleans. Ever heard of the Green Street Gangstas? That's them. They hang with The Graveyard Boyz. We'll be back for the Fat Tues again this year, too.

But while we were there for Thanksgiving, they steered me into a handle of Knob Creek for 53 bucks at a joint called Dorignac's in Metarie.

That's what you need in the snow, some Knob Creek.

1. Fill the glass with snow.
2. Fill the glass with Knob Creek.
3. Repeat until suture is removed.

Don't use yellow or brown snow, at least I wouldn't.

Ask Beth, New Orleanians are snow experts now, what with the dreaded global warming finally reaching the Crescent City.

We are supposed to go down there soon as we have a good friend who lives there and is busting our chops to come down and hang out.
