RIP Trooper!

Our friend Trooper the golden Lab from the Seatuck Cove House has passed away. He was twelve years old and had been ill for quite some time.

He was a loveable dog with a great personality. He loved to come and sit on Lisa's feet which is very funny because she is not a dog person but she loved him.

He will be sorely missed.

Funny, he doesn't look Yorkish.

I am sorry. Losing a pet is tough, but a friend or person you know losing a pet is tough too.

There was a sort of dog story in Game of Thrones last Sunday...

The woman who runs the Inn is heartbroken. As are all of the guests who played with Trooper at the Inn.

As long as you didn't find 2 quarters in your doorway and have an old white haired woman press a rosary into your palm...

Losing something good hurts, no matter what.

When that something good involves shared memories of good times spent together, along with the physical/felt experience of warmth, softness, loyalty, contentment, comfort and love, the loss and hurt go deep.

He will be sorely missed. Yes.

I prefer kids and dogs to adults..even some cats.

Gee, nick, you don't sound like the hard-boiled PI I'd imagined.

I'm a pussycat, ChipS. I detest pretense and kids and dogs have none.
