TRIPLE PLAY!!!

Not sure about this, but it may be the only one in Yankee histoire.

The last one was in the 1970's. So to speak.

So there was at least one person with non-ridiculous hair in the '70s.

Fritz Peterson..best Yank starter on horrible teams. This is his wife and Mike Kekich's wife. Fritz and Mike switched wives.

Anyone who wants to view that triple play just has to google Yankees triple play. Most TP's are almost instantaneous: line drive to third basemen who tags runner with lead off third and either tags runner sliding in from second or throws to second to get runner diving back in to second -- bam bam bam. This triple play is much more complicated, slower developing and really exciting to watch, especially the Yankee first baseman's perfect throw behind the runner going from first to second and Cano's nearly blinded by the runner catch of that throw at second and his perfect sweep tag. It's really a thing of beauty to see. So go watch it! That's an order!!
