The Sixto Sense

"How come there was no party for Sixto when I retired?'
"I was the muy buenoest player El Brewers ever had. Not the maricon who takes needles and mucho mas in el coulie."
"I es muy bueno. I like to party. I like to disco."
"I see Danny Terrio."

KC/Oak game was phenomenal.

I didn't know it was possible to enjoy a game that didn't involve the Boston Red Sox, Greatest Team of the 21st Century.

Chip, Being a former Royal's fan I still have many friends who are. I watched the whole game. The DH makes all those fucking tedious double switches archaic. When I moved to KC the A's were the best team in baseball and the Royals were the upstarts. It was a rivalry akin to the Chiefs/Raiders back then as well.

I too watched the entire game. Ernie Johnson is a dork. Ripken is a mope. Darling is good.

That was a great game.

nick, I thought all those double switches were great. Really had to keep looking at the running box score online to know how events were shaping up.

KC won't be able to plug in so many designated runners in a multiple-game series bc they'll have to carry more pitchers on their roster. But for a single game, they were able to load up on specialists.

Made me think it might be a good idea to expand regular-season rosters by a couple of players.

The players union endorses your expansion proposal.
