It's all good at the Idol

Well American Idol is back tonight and we are finally getting somewhere. It was too exhausting to keep up with the coming and goings of all the people they sent to Hollywood. Some of the people they pimped out are already gone. The Osmond spawn, pothead Jason Castro's brother and the ringer girl who had the record contract are all out already.

Some of the cuts were surprising. The best friend of the guy whose wife died seemed to be a pretty good singer and should have made the final 36. They kept this really annoying girl who shrieks all the time who I think is named Tatiana. She is this years Sanjaya who will be the favorite of the Vote for the Worst crowd. They have two regular guys who are in the Daughtry working man straight guy spot. They paired them off at the elimination spot and the new judge Cara was looking at them like they were a steak dinner. I mean there were quite a few gay guys this year so a couple of straight guys really got her juices flowing. I think one of these gay guys will win, the Broadway guy who sang Cher. He really has the pipes and if they don't sabotage him.

They are breaking up some of the favorites into groups for America to vote on. More as it plays out.

Absolutely right. And they should have brought him back to replace the girl they booted in the middle of last week because she already has recording contracts.

Hey Tooop, how are you feeling now that the pissy customer event has passed?

I hope AI does a night when MeatLoaf is the guest artist. Each audition would be 30 minutes. Cool.

Yeah, all I care about is Adam Lambert.

(In the AI category of caring, I mean.)

I'm just glad they've covered the "men who look like lesbians" contingent.
