Hey we are still stuck in the store

Well we are stuck in the store late on Valentines day tonight. Lot's of dude who are rushing in to get last second gifts. And we have this older woman with her daughter who is having a great time. They have to get her something to wear for her grandson's bar mitzvah and she is a tough fit. At first she didn't want to see anything but the fun atmosphere got her into trying on some dresses and stuff. So it's all good. It's just delaying our Valentines date night.

So once again, happy Valentines day to all of you.

Hey Trooper,

I had big plans to bring the wife and kids out to Manhattan next week, but they fell through for now. Would have loved to stop by Brooklyn and visited the store. Next time.

Anytime. It is a quick shot on the train or driving. I am less than twenty minutes from midtown. Let me know and I will have the canoli and espresso ready.

Aww, sorry that didn't pan out, chickenlittle. Think about going over Labor Day, though. That's when I'll be there.

I've never been to New York.

Until now, I've never had a reason.

Heh.

Blake! You too!

Darcy!

Me too what!?!?!

Why are we shouting!?!?!?!!

You might go to visit Trooper?

blake said...

Heh. I might. I don't have any concrete plans or anything, though.

I may have to go up to Philadelphia in the near future, in which case I'd probably try to wangle in a visit. (Normally I don't have any spare time.)

Well, that would be fun, Blake. I wish you and chickenlittle could make it later this year. (And anyone else from this blog - would be so fun to meet up.)

The train from Philly to NYC is a pretty short trip, and it's nice. I fell asleep on it! :)

Philadelphia? IAHP territory?

blake said...

Yes. There's some sort of legal issue going on up there; I'm sure they get that all the time. And it may require a visit.

IHOP legal issues? Oh my god! There can't be a problem with the freakin' pancakes. This peanut butter thing is killing me. My wife confiscated my Reese Peanut Butter cups and my Nutter Butter cookies. Now you want to mess with my silver dollars. This will not stand.

Turns out the maple syrup is fraudulent.

Wha' happened? Someone mistakenly include actual maple sap in the syrup?

Hey, if that Log Cabin corn syrup was good enough for me it's good enuf for y'all.

Log Cabin syrup puzzles me. I never understood why gay Republicans needed to have their own special maple syrup.
