Problems of a shopkeeper!

Here is a dress we took in this spring. Now we were a little hesitant because we didn't know if it would work with the flowers so we only took in four units. We sold three of the four in a week. So that might have been a mistake. Or is it? Maybe if we took in more we would have them sitting around. You see this is a tough dress to sell. No sleeves so a lot of woman won't even look at it. The top requires a lot of boobage to fill it out. And there is a lot of detail at the bottom so you can't really hem it at all so that leaves out the petite girls. So you are limiting the pool of potential buyers. All in all selling three out of four right away is pretty cool. You can't get greedy. Or complacent. You just got to get the best clothes.

I love that dress. I would wear it.

But, what is up with almost all the new style, especially shirts and tops, looking like maternity clothing. This dress has a wider midriff band so it will hug the waist area and show that you have a figure.

Contrary to clothing designers ideas, us boobage ladies do actually have waist lines and hips that we might like to show off. They seem to think that the clothes should hang like sacks from the boobs to the hips and then you look like a pregnant sow.

It is so disconcerting to see all these young women running around in maternity clothing. You wonder ....are they pregnant or victims of the lastest butt ugly fashions.

Don't get me started on the retro polyester 1970's God awful fabrics.

Tip. being 5' 6" and used to make a lot of my clothing to fit my ahem...hourglass figure. I would shorten this dress from the waist band upward instead of the hem at the bottom

You are exactly right Dust Bunny Queen. We always have them adjust from the waist band.

We have a great selection of dresses that fit the boobage perfectly as many of our customers have that issue. Most of the dresses that my wife designs go to the body and are fitted and are very flattering. Not to pimp them too much but if you check out the website and the new Olivia Harper dresses we are putting up you will find great stuff for work in the $146 to $189 price range. Olivia Harper is doing our private label stuff that is really moving well.

I hope if you ever come to NYC you stop by just to say hello.

It is going to be a couple of years until we get a store in San Fran.
