Thanks to NYPD for their efforts.

This is a shot of the new graffiti I was dealing with last week. I finally got through to the guy in the 76 who deals with "quality of life" stuff. He was on vacation but as soon as he came back he came to the store. City wide vandalism squad also came by and loved the tape I had which had a full on shot of the punks face. So if they catch him because of this tag we can prosecute based on the tape. I just have to be patient. New York City now has a program where they paint over the graffiti for you if you request it and they did a very good job this time. The trick is to get it done right away so you don't encourage other assholes to tag the same spot. The last time the paint job kinda sucked but they did a much better job this time. I will still have to repaint it to make it match exactly but at least it is presentable especially since there is a street fair tomorrow and I want the store to look good.
So thank you to the NYPD for their good work.

In Chicago they have trucks that blast the graffitti of with a solution of baking soda and water.

NYC has to keep the painters union happy huh?

They have the skells doing community service do the painting. It is sort of like the chain gang. But you know they did a surprisingly good job.

Not quite justice.

Not until the guys who did it are painting over graffiti all over the city.
