I couldn't post too much today

I had a super busy morning so I went in the back and sat on one of my recliners and fell asleep or a couple of hours.

Then these manikins molested me.

I feel so ashamed.

Yeah, but won't you please consider how the manikins feel? Shame is the least of it...

At least you don't have to worry about kissing a stranger on the lips I guess.

Hard to get a bj though.

Just because we need to hear something good.

The shrug in the middle is priceless.

Who's Pavarotti...the conductor? YouTube titles are usually the singer. I didn't realize Dom Deluise could sing. He's pretty good. I bet he could yodel if he put his mind to it.

Frickin dagos and their howling.

Scottish people roar like that it's a war cry and someone's gettin' killed.

Eyetalians do it and people bust out in tears.

I once made an elaborate sign for a local arboretum and as I worked on it I thought of a famous Dorothy Parker quote. I am reminded of it again.

Good day to you, sir.

Don't ever go full Guinea.

Pavarotti looks like Jack Black in that clip.

Only with better hair.

No matter how many times I've heard it it gets me every time Pavarotti sings Vincero!

Thanks, ricpic, he was very good at what he did.

Kind of a mug when he tried to act, kind of a clown even when he wasn't Pagliacci, certainly not the best tenor ever, but he was great at connecting with an audience and I am thankful he was around for as long as he was.

No more Rice Krispies!

OK, is my heart too hidden to cry as as others who've listened to this link have done, or am I focused on figuring out what the heck it has to do with Rice Krispies?

I know the commercial. In fact, I could sing it, along with "Snap what a happy sound". What I didn't know all these years, was its origin. Thanks to the internet, another layer of reality has been introduced to the operatically challenged.

but he was great at connecting with an audience. Yes, that is immediately evident, with his heart in true color, shining through!
