So Blake was 100% right.....again

No not when he posted those naked photo's of Darcy. That was uncalled for dude.

No he was right about Leah Remini and her dispute with Scientology. It seems that she filed a missing persons report with the LAPD about the wife of the leader of the religion. The cops shut it down and said that they had talked to the "missing person" in the last two days and this was all a publicity stunt. It looks like Leah is just drumming up interest for her upcoming book and nothing much more.

It's a shame. It was a cunning stunt when she should concentrate on being a stunning cunt. Or something.

I just wanted to say that Blake was 100% right. I should never dispute him in Hollywood stuff. I mean I didn't believe him when he told me that Sophia Vergara was a chick with a dick but hey...he knows his stuff.

Blake sounds plugged into a lot of Hollywood. So to speak.

It's not really a "plugged into Hollywood" thing, it's a "plugged into the news media mindset" thing.

They make the story up. Then they go get the "supporting evidence". They've already made up their stories for conservatives, libertarians, Republicans, Catholics, Mormons, other Christians, Scientologists, abortions, etc. etc. etc.

Note that the sites that are bothering to still report on this, still have Scientology as the villain. "They're blasting Leah Remini".

Why, what kind of scoundrels respond so badly to being accused of a serious crime?

Villains, all!

Also, I had to post those pix of Darce. She's way too modest to post them herself, and way too spectacular to keep under wraps.

I was thinking more plugs and sockets, blake.

I'm just trying to mythologize your Hollywood legend, blake.

Stars in real life are usually kinda disappointing, though.

I saw Teri Hatcher in the late '80s, during the "Lois and Clark" years and she was sparkly in person. Didn't know how to apply her rouge but definitely had a hting.

But mostly they're shorter, older looking, and really pretty ordinary. The guys are almost always effeminate.

I've seen a few porn stars as well, and they're just...I mean, you'd probably rather give up sex than have it with them.

It's all glamour.

blake, My wife has an actress friend in NYC. She says ~80% of Broadway actors hit from the other side of the plate.

Also, the camera really does add ten pounds.

Which means in person a lot of these chicks are scary skinny.

We just saw Christa B. Allen at the premiere of this little horror comedy flick Detention of the Dead.

We're walking up to the later show and I see this alarmingly thin girl in a tight black dress and I say "Hey, I bet that chick's in the movie." (Like I know who Christa B Allen is, right?)

Sure enough she was one of the top three characters, and she was really good, but she looked almost frail, and the thin-ness made her bone structure stand out in a kind of Halloween-y way.

It wasn't so obvious in the movie.

A few years back were at the premiere of The Graves and saw the cast and crew, including Clare Grant, a picture of whom I had blogged in the early days.

She looked pretty good but tiny. As was the entire cast. The heavy was two rows in front of me and he was about my height. Maybe 30-40 pounds heavier. But not scary in person.

Now I can't remember why I started this rant.

It's all glamour. By which I mean bullshit.

Oh, yeah. It's close to 100% in ballet.

I think movies may be lower than theater, but still really high. And even heterosexual guys seem effeminate.

Then you got your Frank Langella types...

It is true that people on TV who look skinny are skeletal in person.

OK, you caught me.

I photoshopped your face on to Shannon Tweed's body.
