Today was fun but tomorrow is going to be tough

Today was our official day off so I was able to spend some time batting LSL around a little. But tomorrow will be a busy day.

The Javits show is on and we have to catch the last day of it to see if we can make some appointments and get jeans and jewelry and some other stuff that we don't make. Then on to the fabric stores to get some more goods to finish the cut. We are about 100 yrds short and need to find stuff for tops.

We are supposed to be off Mondays and Tuesdays but it never works out that way.

Are you the only hetero man @ these shows?

Pretty much.

Some of the jewelry guys who own the company handle the money while the wife designs.

The rest are the "Sons Of The Evil Blogger Lady."

That's the title of a Western you would never want to see.

Damn, boy, weren't you just lecturing me about such comments.

For that you must now spend a week in Madison. HA!

Trooper would be conflicted in Madison. Lots of good places to drink w/ "professional drinkers" as Lewis Black called us when doing standup here. Good American food. But, you all know the huge downside.

If I went to Madison, me, spinelli, Haz and Garage would all meet up and get drunk and go take a leak on Larry's lawn.

Now that would be epic baby.

And Sixty I wasn't lecturing you. I just want to be more effective. We can say what we want here but some of the pussies at Lem's place have delicate sensibilities. Not to inhibit you brother. You should let fly with whatever you got.

Not saying you are wrong, Troopski, it does me no good to launch into rants against those miscreants. It's fun, though...

On a somewhat related subject, NC had a ballot issue about gay marriage. I really don't care, one way or the other, seriously, why should gays avoid being raped by family court, right?

But over time the harassment by the pro-gay marriage idiots wore me out. Every week, same thing - dumb ass parades, in your face yelling, and so on. I turned against that issue and what do you know, it lost, by close to a 30% margin.

I tend to take a libertarian approach to social issues - yeah, I know, but seriously, leave me alone and I'll leave you alone.

That was an example of what happens when activists don't leave me the heck alone.

Fat chance we will ever be left alone ever again in this country. No freakin' way.

It's like the whole country is being run by Larry the Pest.

I like it when Sixty rips Larryboy up. I like it when he hits him so hard even I kinda cringe just a tiny bit before I laugh. I like it when he hits him so hard Larryboy runs away and stays away for a while. Like the other day when he was talking about Annie being a diseased splooge receptacle (I forget the exact quote, but it was classic). I don't think LSL showed up at Lem's for 2 days.

And if Trooper is going fabric shopping today does that mean we get to look forward to a bunch of complaints about the faerie dust and stuff?

I'd fly in just to do that and then leave.
