Music can be your salvation

Music can be your salvation.

I really enjoy Pandora. You just pick style of music and it searches out that style in all the radio stations in the country. And it is all free.

I just put it on my smart TV so I can get internet radio through the TV with the great sound system.

Sometimes technology is pretty cool.

I set up a lot of stations that the wife will not approve of when she sees them.

Van Morrison.
The Pouges.
Grand Funk Railroad.

And of course George Jones.

She hates country music.

I love Pandora. Play it at home and work. I've set up some stations with my own likes, but also play some preset ones. The classical Christmas station is great.

I listen to Pandora and Slacker. The I Herat Radio app is pretty good for talk radio and listening to news in other cities. Live Ireland is awesome music, broadcast from Dublin.

Heart, not Herat.

I like to confuse Pandora.

I set up a "God of Thunder" channel.

There's only a handful of versions of God of Thunder. But it faithfully soldiers on.

A lot of repeats though.

Speaking of music and Salvation, here is a video about the school where I teach part-time, and where my son went to middle school. He didn't get a chance to sing for the Pope, like the current kids at the school do in the video. But that doesn't matter, because he did get a chance to sing the National Anthem for the Red Sox at Fenway. Twice. You know you're in Boston when the Catholic choirboys show up to put a little blessing on David Ortiz.
