I'm beginning to think his wife was smart to split.

Well you can really see where living with him would get fucking old.

But he's always been an ass. One time back in the 90's his whole band quit en masse.

And he's been ranting about reparations and so forth since then at least.

He was playing a role at Outhouse.

And yet people seem attracted to him.

He was playing a role at Outhouse.

As leader of his Cult of My Own Rightness.

Interesting that he has switched from Trooper York as his imprimatur (h/t to deborah-I had to look that one up) to Freeman Hunt as the one person who gets him.

From Ten warning signs of a potentially unsafe group/leader:

-Absolute authoritarianism without meaningful accountability.
-No tolerance for questions or critical inquiry.
-No meaningful financial disclosure regarding budget, expenses such as an independently audited financial statement.
-Unreasonable fear about the outside world, such as impending catastrophe, evil conspiracies and persecutions.
-There is no legitimate reason to leave, former followers are always wrong in leaving, negative or even evil.
-Former members often relate the same stories of abuse and reflect a similar pattern of grievances.
-There are records, books, news articles, or television programs that document the abuses of the group/leader.
-Followers feel they can never be "good enough".
-The group/leader is always right.
-The group/leader is the exclusive means of knowing "truth" or receiving validation, no other process of discovery is really acceptable or credible.

Got a gun from uncle Freddy
Got a station all picked out
Got a plan and now we're ready
Gonna take that station out

So you go on 'bout your business
You just leave us folks alone
We don't need no two-bit junkies
Screwin' up our happy home

'cause we've almost made it
We've almost made it
We've almost made it
To the top

I wonder if FH sends Crack money like Meadehouse does. Not asking for an IRS audit, just askin'

Talking about movies, Spike Lee is remaking one of his classics...

I followed Haz' lead and deleted my comments on that thread - they really weren't bad comments, but Crack is too cracked to respond in a sane way.

I don't know why I thought that he might. So I deleted them. I was surprised that I only had about 8 comments out of nearly 400. Interesting, that.

As for the Freeman hunt thing, I think we know her deal by now. She is wrong about everything. Wrong about Althouse, wrong about Crack, wrong about Obama - just wrong.

But if she tells me that Crack was raised by superannuated ex-slaves, well then, by golly, I will believe in 140 year old moko jumbies walking amongst us.

I thought you guys would like the new Spike Lee film link.

she might, but that would be no guarantee he'd like her. except that she's a white woman.

Crack has an amazing ability to stab "friends" in the back.

OMG, EBL!

That is way too racy! Even for 2014

That is way too racy!

Imprimature I'd say!

LoL on both. The fine print on the other one also whispers of rumors too fit to print.

Is it true, chickenlittle? Have you been:

Posting intentionally provocative posts?

Exhibiting a blase and hypocritical attitude?

And worst of all, posting photos that "blow the top off around here"?

If so, I blame the Cult of Fogblather for modeling and trapping you into this behavior (especially the TOP off thing) along with the after effects of the fumes from the meade and other beverages you've reportedly been bagging of late. This sort of thing definitely qualifies for the El Pollo Raylan Gone Rogue category.

You're very asute, MamaM.

And astute to boot!

Thanks, chickenlittle. I hoped after posting that you knew I was poking with a smile. I may need to start adding :)'s! I was going to write, "spirits you've been bagging recently", but that seemed a little woo-woo.

I talked with someone this week who said honest conflict, even honest heated conflict, is something our current culture is not skilled at doing, denying and holding genuine and appropriate emotion under wraps and going for drama and blame in place of strong but honest interaction and disagreement.

I'd rather -- in the words of Archie Campbell -- post photo that "hoe the blouse down."
