Doyle, commenter and liberal extraordinaire has stopped by to say hello. He is also one of the biggest Met's fans around so I want to take this opportunity to wish them well and say I hope we meet in the World Series. So the Yankees can whip their sorry asses again just like we did the last time.

You remember, Jesse Gonder, right? He was in that movie with Tony Curtis, "Gonder, lies da castle of my fodder!"

I had those cards too. I favorite though was Mickey Mantle rookie card that my mother threw out in 1968. It is worth a couple of hundred dollars now.
