That's a very nice table you got there.....

So the ducks are keeping it under control. It is chained in the basement like the Count of Raymore and Flanigan. It ain't going nowhere.

Until you pay up.

Damn, I was going to suggest the duck as a prop!!!

Now no one will believe my prescience.

You keep a ball and chain handy?

That's telling.

That's some hefty chain. At least TY is in possession of one ball that is bigger than a duck!

I suspect that that black sphere is actually a bowling ball--part of his "Bunker mentality."

That is the traditional bachelor party ball and chain of which I am the custodian.

Whenever we have a bachelor party it is shackled to the poor bastard who is getting married so he gets a taste as to what it is like. Since I am always in every freaking wedding I ended up getting possession of it.

That table's not much. Well, I'm being honest. To make amends for that brutal assessment let me say that I don't have a stick of furniture much above the goodwill level. In other words I'm not a material oriented guy. All that said when a piece of furniture is truly beautiful it is priceless. My parents lived close to the bone much of their lives but after they had attained "comfortable" status one of the things they bought was an empire style table that was beyond belief in its elegance and the quality of wood, wood inlays, just overall workmanship. And I could kick myself around the block that when they died I didn't jump at the chance to claim that piece. But I've got the memory and I hope whoever has it now loves it.

I'm sorta with ricpic.

Doesn't the thing you hold for ransom have to be worth more than what you're demanding?

These guys owe you half-a-fin?
